It works great! I used to change my 3 lawnmower blades and it worked like a charm. It does use alot of air and I had to wait for my pressure to built back up half way thru. I only gave it 4 stars because after you assembled the oil insert and air jig it does Not fit into the box, which would mean you'd have to take it apart each time u use it. It's a little heavy, but not so much to cause extra fatigue. It's very air hungry... But, I have a 120cfm compressor in my shop, so air supply is not an issue, it has removed some things my IR and Sunex guns couldn't... I'm shocked that it's so strong in reverse. It's just what I needed... I was very hesitant to order an impact so cheap, but glad I did, I purchased the protection plan, so if it dies, I'm covered, but I can't say anything bad about this thing yet. In fact the manager of our shop is gonna order 6 of the 1/2 inch and 3 of the 3/4 inch impacts for the techs that drive our service trucks and don't have to buy their own tools. I bought this because of its stubby body length. I got tired of not being able to fit my 1/2" impact into tight places. The shorter length of this impact makes it more convenient. My only nit is that it's a little heavy compared to some composite impacts out there, but I'm sure it makes up for its heft by being more durable. I also was able to buy this as a formerly returned item which made the price even more attractive. It came in the original packaging and appeared to me to never have been used. 1,400 ft-lbs ? Far from it but in the downside. My compressor pressure was 90 lbs but it can't open my wheel lug nuts. I have to use a break bar then the ......gun. Ok, i may save me sometimes for my hand ratchet that is all.
