    • FLOW RATE IS INCORRECT
First and foremost be prepared to replace the thin wall hose included with pump. The pump I purchased; the hose walls would collapse at pump inlet, so I replaced with higher quality hose. The advertised flow rate of 1 GPM is inaccurate. This is shown in the second picture from the top. A subsequent picture shows .05 to .08 GPM I question that as well. Pump got extremely hot after a few minutes of use. If you are just using this for changing oil in lawnmowers, pressure washers or other small engines, it would be ok but for bigger jobs you need to find a bigger pump. ... show more

Be sure to bone up on your Chinese converted to English instructions and then convert that to some sort of sensible wording. It's mind boggling! Assembly instructions are terrible so you need to be a creative puzzle solver if you've never used one of these before. First sentence "If long time no use" Well be prepared for the long time. This thing is painfully slow at sucking out engine oil. I bought it for use on a boat that gets the oil changed once every 3 years due to not a lot of use so I put up with the long time. Handy for oil removal but doesn’t pump at 1-4 l/minute as advertised, much slower but runs well. Bought this one because it indicated could handle cool oil, and it does but much slower, gets very warm, haven’t kept it running for the full cycle indicated due to feeling very hot.
