  • Great oil pressure cold through hot Temps.
Very good oil pressure for my 06 Cadillac lq9. 60 PSI cold start. 40 PSI are better idle hot. Runs at about 55 to 70 PSI depending on temperature. Definitely an improvement from the 20 I was seeing on my previous oil pump. My motor is pretty tired and was making a lot of lifter noise prior to putting this pump in. Lifters quieted up and oil pressure came up substantially like I said. But definitely make sure that you get the right o-ring into the pickup tube for sure. As that is a major flaw in my opinion on the ls engines. A $4 part leads to catastrophic engine failure potentially. But this pump I would say has held up nicely for over a year with great oil pressure. Never see below 40 PSI on my 250,000 plus mile truck. ... show more

Well made looks just like a welling and man it moves oil,at start up was moving 40psi down highway 60-80 psi I also ported the pump, works well fantastic oil pressure said shop I took it to, installed perfect where old stock pump was on LS1 engine, I recommend replacing pan gasket timing cover gasket as you have to replace it and remember also valve cover gaskets good value (would have port a welling pump also) that it’s a good price, save the money and get this unit. • Decent for the price/ not high Volume though
Not easy to install that's for sure but looks like it was made well. Decent quality and pumps good. I wouldn't say high volume though old pump pushed harder than this one and it's a 1999 silverado original pump. Working great though no complaints.

Great price but I found that the supplied orings are not right picked up the right color and type at the parts house for 5 dollars and now we have pressure. Holds 60psi running 30 mph 45 at idle which is 550rpm.
