Plenty of options and WiFi using my smartphone is an extra help. The remote also performs well. One issue is when I affix the lens hood that came with the bundle, it blocks the light from direct lighting. Also, the sound when playing back on the camera is very distorted and hard to hear. The only way to hear it clearly is on the phone when playback is on. Still, for a little over $100, what do you expect? I'd buy it again and suggest this for vlogging, pics, videos, and even podcasts as the mic has various settings to capture the sound at the best possible setting. Another issue is I have to switch out cards based on what I'm going to record. I have to use SDXC for 4K video and SDHC for pics, though both work for taking pics. ... show more

The microphone wouldn't fit. We were told we could get a replacement before my son's bday. I needed it for Saturday (called on Wed). It's Saturday and we didn't have a present. It's showing running late. Now I don't know when we will get it. He was so disappointed.

This is a good camcorder for the price, about what you would expect for one at this price point. It comes with 2 batteries so you can always have one charged and ready to go. It also comes with a boom mike and an SD card to save the recording to. It fits on a tripod so that you can set it up and record remotely. It is small and light so it doesn't take up room or add weight to take on your travels. If you are looking for a camcorder at a lower price point, this is a good one. ... show more

Has a good picture, no manual focus which is a downside. Does take good video quite surprising for such a small camera. After using camera more the sound isn’t great doesn’t bring in a lot of sound. This is not a professional grade movie camera. Just make sure you have realistic expectations. It's an inexpensive feature rich camera that works and does what it is meant to do... shoot video.
