I got this as a prop for my 1/6 Yusaku Matsuda figure and it's perfect. Detailed and lightweight. There are minor imperfections on the Vespa that would irritate a serious collector who prefers everything mint. The speedometer is glued in crooked, there are white scuffs on the seat that won't come off, and the blue letters on the back are smeared. I don't mind, because it looks more realistic. Kinda gives it character. For being "diecast" it has a lot of plastic parts. At $40 it's great for casual display and I'm happy with it. The outer box was ripped and not appropriate for gifting, so keep that in mind. I will say that the older run of this same model has more detail. It has shiny chrome handlebars and black kickstand tips, etc. I only see that one pop up on auction sites tho. Amazon should remove the pics of that older version. ... show more

I bought this item as decoration to match my real one. It is a funny way to get some memorabilia inside your house. Product is well done, plastic parts could be better made. Shipment was fast and no complains with the seller. I like the product and reccomend.

I LOVE it! I saw one of these on a specialty doll site and they were asking 100-200$. I couldnt afford that for a doll toy/prop. I love it because it reminds me of the one I had in my college days, but mine was pink. It is a nice heavy quality, and the handle bars and wheels turn. The kickstand goes up and down. The springs under the seat move and it has a tiny storage area on the back wheel area. For the price I couldn't be happier. It arrived in 2 days with prime shipping and is everything I wanted. I’d caution buying this if you don’t like to tinker. The handlebar shaft and both wheels had tons of wiggle. I had to take apart the shaft, then shim and glue where needed. I also had to reseat both wheels. The speedometer was also falling out so I had to trim the plastic. The front wheel housing was crooked, so I reseated it when I took off the shaft. Just a mess. I got this item for a diorama I am going to create. The item arrived as advertised and new in box. It looks to be very well constructed and I am very pleased with it.

    • Get it out of box?
I see a lot of sample-to-sample results in the reviews. I lucked out with a completely intact model. One thing to note: requires a long thin philips head screw driver to release from packaging.
