LOVE this mattress! Been using it for a week and I have slept this well in forever. I have lower back and hip pain and so far its been great. I sleep on both my side and back, no pain laying down or when I wake up. No smell, firm but not too firm. Perfect. For the price you can’t beat it.

My new 70 lb mattress arrived in a tall, surprisingly slim box after a lot of confusion about shipping, several days early. It was easy to unbox, awkward to position, and unexpectedly easy to release from its wrapper. Be warned it pops open with great enthusiasm (upside down, of course!). It poufed out most of the way within minutes and fully by the next day. It is comfortable, but much firmer than I was expecting. I wasn’t sure how well it would fill out when we first got it. The “pillow top” seemed more like a mat, but as the days went on it puffed out and turned out to be a very comfortable mattress. Ours was a twin and it is perfect for what we needed. I was so surprised that a mattress with springs could be as compressed as it was and still turn out comfortable. This is my favorite purchase thus far this year! As sleeping both comfortably and soundly are a big must in a search for a good mattress, I was extremely pleased with its ability to provide the support I was looking for and still remain plush and inviting. The fact that it can be used without a boxspring was also ideal as I wanted to raise it for under the bed storage. It was fairly heavy, and I definitely would recommend at least 2 people help moving it (or better yet, have the delivery pp do it for you) and I would suggest following the directions and opening it in an open space with a lot of room. I would NOT open it on top of a frame, as I did, and can guarantee you that is a big mistake. It opens very quickly and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Although it was stated it may take up to 72 hours, I found the bed was perfectly able to be slept in less than a day. Directions are there for a reason and if you follow them accordingly you will not be displeased. The size was exactly as stated making it perfect if you have a specific area in mind that is size constricting as I did. There was no chemical smell and no need to air it out more than a few minutes from just the obvious packing smell that is to be expected. ... show more

UPDATE - 10 days in Not only has the mattress not flattened itself out (the top half is noticeably taller/firmer than the bottom), but the "padding" that is supposedly several inches thick is also barely attached - it's already coming up in the middle. It's uncomfortable, my back hurts more every night, and the quality is abysmal. What a rip-off. Going to see if someone locally wants it for a spare room where it won't cause chronic back pain, and I'mjust going to buy a better mattress and eat the cost. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK. --- It's my first night with the mattress, and I can already tell that it is not what the pictures would lead you to believe. I don't know where all these supposed layers of foam and padding are - I can feel the springs on the side of the mattress and they go all the way up to the quilted layer. Sitting on it I can feel individual springs in some spots. Sitting on the edge I can feel the springs on the sides bending outward instead of straight down - there does not seem to be any real structure to keep the springs under control. Even my full memory foam mattress didn't sink this much on the edges. Will update after a few nights sleeping on it, but so far I am not impressed. I'll give it a couple nights to see if the sleeping experience is any better ... show more

The delivery was on time. No issues with the mattress expanding. HOWEVER .. I feel like I am sleeping on a rectangular trampoline. There is too much 'bounce' in the mattress! This mattress is too soft for me, and I wake up daily with my lower back hurting. (I am 71 years old) This mattress would be perfect for a kid who likes to bounce on a bed, because my Grandson (6 years old) thinks it's great to bounce on! He loves it! Ugh! This is the worst medium firm mattress I have ever had! I am stuck with it now. I spent 2 hundred bucks on a too soft, trampoline type bed! If you are elderly, DO NOT BUY! ... show more
