I liked it cause I realized I pack a lot of car trips, so wouldn’t it be nice to pack lighter or less or leave your luggage in car but have this one for hotel or room…. I got the flowery blue one, my mother saw it and said “why don’t you get something practical” you know what if you like flowery or feminine bags, I don’t see the issue in becoming a Vera Bradley collector I feel like this is cute, I like having simple cute things … that’s just me, not every woman likes the basic looks all the time… also I think it’s easy I mean at some point you need a weekender and this is a lightweight inexpensive option, so I don’t regret what I got I think for me it’s nice to take on our car trips… or staying over your families who knows it doesn’t hurt to have a duffle and this the only duffle I have and I think as a single woman it’s ok, even if you don’t have kids… ... show more

Without a doubt - this is another wonderful and gorgeous Vera Bradley bag. I am not new to this brand, and was hopeful this weekender bag would suit my needs for upcoming travel plans. I found this particular one Miramar Weekender and I loved the pattern instantly. This weekender that I chose is called "Colorful Bouquet" and that name does perfectly represent what's in the design. This weekender bag was made with intricate details, thus making this an A+++ bag as usual. Below, I will outline some of the other features that led met select this one over other similar ones on the market. *Design: An accomplished Brand - Vera Bradley Weekender Bag- Colorful Bouquet - Cotton- Laptop Compartment - Easy care with Machine wash *Function: this weekender bag has all the compartments I need for a weekend getaway. I love how soft the cotton is, very well stitched and I did not encounter any issues of defect, broken zippers, stains or what not. *Trolley Sleeve - works great with luggage *Back Zip pocket All in all, this weekender bag has lived up to the high expectations I had for this particular brand. This duffle bag/weekender was well designed, all compartments are fluid and easy to access. The material is strong and does feel durable. Overall, this is another great weekender bag by Vera. Finally used the bag for the first time since we got it. It can effectively be used like a small duffel. It is quite large. Very flashy but does seem better made than most "Designer" stuff. The fabric and build quality of this piece are better than other Vera Bradley products I have received recently. The fabric is nice and thick and the stitching is tight. The zippers are smooth. The contrasting lining fabric makes it easier to see what is on the inside of the bag. This bag is somewhat floppy feeling and does not have any support to stand upright on its own. This works well to fold up and store, but I found myself feeling frustrated when trying to pack it kept folding in on itself.
