We purchased for a recent home move , based on a recommendation from a coworker. These bags are very durable and we used them to hold blankets, towels, washcloths, hand towels, clothing and more. They were easy to stack (when full) and a great addition to our dozens of boxes. The zippers are reliable and they go both ways for ease of use. One downfall is that they are bags, so while the material is heavy duty, the sides are soft and it folds back into package shape easily, so the initial entry into the bag requires some patience until you get the initial base of the bag with some items in it, then th esides become more stable and it's easier to pack. These bags are very sturdy and can hold a lot, but you need to be careful with the zippers. If you pull too hard on them, they will easily break off from the teeth. The zippers are plastic and probably a little too delicate for this type of bag. The manufacturer should consider using a sturdier zipper. It might drive the price up a little, but in the end, it would be worth it! Overall, though, I recommend these bags if yuou need to store away those winter sweaters or you have to move a lot of clothing or other items. Great solution to storage. They are clear so you can see what’s in them. Whether you use them for storing decorations, crafts, clothing, etc you can see what’s inside the bag. I was using boxes or bins and forgetting to mark what’s in them so I had to open each one to see what’s inside. Clear storage is the solution. They’re sturdy, they nearly stand up on their own when packing things inside and the polyvinyl is heavy duty. The zippers seem sturdy but I suggest you’re careful not to overstuff the bags where you’re pulling the sides together so tauntly that it’s barely closing. I’ve not ever gone up to storing 50lbs, especially since I don’t want to lift 50 lbs. The straps are heavy duty and makes it easy to carry the bags. They will stack on top of each other as long you don’t store oddly shaped items items inside. These are much lighter weight than the plastic bins. Easier to carry with the handles and cost much less. I purchased these with the center zipper and also the ones that zip around the top. I like both. For my Christmas ornaments I think I like the center zipper because I can reach in down each side to grab certain items. It would be nice if the zipper went down both sides instead of each one and it was a dual zipper that allowed opening from either end. This is the second time I have purchased bags of this design and size for moving a kid to college. The collapsible nature of these bags, the fairly water resistant material and their inexpensive cost make them a no-brainer for handling or storing large volumes of clothes, bedding or shoes. The first time I purchased bright blue bags made from tightly woven plastic tarp like material from a famous Swedish furniture brand. The straps were in the brand's iconic yellow and blue colors. The straps included a pair of backstraps, which allow you to carry it like an awkward backpack. Nothing you'd want to hike with, but very helpful for lugging up dorm steps or through an airport. These bags held up fairly well. After a few flights where they were in checked baggage there were a few small snags, which were patched with duct tape and made useful again. Given those snags, I decided to purchase the VENO bags the second time around due to their smooth, plastic material, which I hoped would help prevent snags. Two bags were packed with mostly clothes, shoes and bedding and checked in baggage for a cross country flight. They were full, but not overstuffed. They were transferred to a hotel room and then a dorm room. Upon unpacking, I found one of the bags had a right angle tear about an inch and a half long. Additionally, these do not have backpack straps, which means you are carrying these very big backs by their hand straps - which is awkward. I'd still recommend this product - especially for storage or car moves - but I'd be careful about using it for flying. I prefer the other style with the woven material and backstraps. ... show more

We bought a 4 pack of the grey bags for our son when he was moving to college and they have worked great for two years and still going strong. The ones with the straps all the way around are super sturdy, and can’t handle a lot of weight. They are so roomy and hold way more than you think. We moved home to college and everything except his clothes and back pack fit in four bags. FYI, a bag will also fit a 3” twin xl memory foam mattress topper after it’s been opened. After coming home for the summer, I make sure everything is properly washed and place it all right back in the bags so they’re ready to go back come August, helps with storing all those extras when they’re home. We loved these so much, we just ordered 6 more to move our daughter to college. We leave two bags folded up in their dorm closet for bringing home bedding or anything extra for Christmas break. Cannot imagine any other brand being better! ... show more

We wanted to avoid using cardboard boxes for our local move. So we bought Home Depot bins for heavy/delicate items. And used these totes for most everything else: linens, cleaning supplies, loose items, etc. They have no chemical smell ( although we aired them outside first just to be safe.) They fit a surprisingly large capacity. And they fold up nicely for neat storage afterwards. They were also great for transporting my handbags. I put open boxes as the base of each tote, and placed the handbags inside so they didn’t get scrunched or damaged during the ride. ... show more
