I find the Velieta to be the lowest priced dual zoned unit in its capacity class (177). Personally, I was not looking for a high-end unit. Both arrived within 5 days and on schedule. 2 units purchased at the same time. I was sent an initial text to confirm the delivery date and a 2nd text when the driver was 30 minutes away. Delivery guys placed each unit where I instructed. I unpackaged the units, installed the handles and started the units. I started placing bottles in gradually over the course of the next few days. After 7 days, both units are working perfectly. Minimal noise, bright lighting. I'm not testing the temperature independently, but the bottles are certainly chilled. The digital thermostat reads a 10-degree separation between the top zone and the bottom zone. I purchased this unit because it seemed to be appropriate for a mix of bottle sizes, and I've been able to store 750's and mags, BDX, NapaCabs, Champagne, Ports alike. While most racks are typical BDX, they can hold similar sized bottles, and there are 3 racks that are oversized at the top, middle and bottom of the unit. Within 2 days after shipment, Velieta emailed me to check the status of the shipment and again after 5 days to check the cooling status on the units. They also emailed an extended warranty which they provided at no extra charge. I'm giving 5 stars because the units are exactly what I expected for the price, design, features and quality. I'm thrilled with them and will probably buy 2 more. Updated August 2024. Now have 5 of these. They all read the same temp consistently. No issues whatsoever. ... show more

Arrived in great condition and fits perfectly in the allotted space beneath our countertop. Some buttons to control the settings aren't exactly intuitive, but otherwise we have no issues. We haven't tried loading it to the brim with beverages to see how well it can handle a heavy load, but it's working well so far with only a light load. ... show more

Refrigerator is clearly of high quality. It cools very well, and is quiet. The only issue we had was the door was badly dented upon receipt. I contacted the company and they offered to give a partial refund. I declined and asked that they send a replacement door instead. They did so with little delay. This is the second wine cooler I’ve purchased and it is phenomenal. I love red wines and it keeps the temperature perfectly stable at 63 degrees. The racks are plastic but trimmed with wood and it has a nice blue interior light that looks great. The assembly involved installing the handle and waiting a day before plugging in to stabilize the refrigerant for proper operation. My complaint was not with the unit but with the third party delivery company. They dropped it on the front porch on a broken pallet and refused to bring it inside my house. Luckily I had a dolly and my girlfriend and I managed to get it inside and unboxed. The box was damaged but the unit was fine. That an hour I’ll never get back so shame on you delivery company. Overall I’m very happy with it and would buy it again if needed later. It’s a good value looks beautiful with the stainless steel frame and handle and fits perfectly with my stainless kitchen appliances. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Shipped fast and was well packaged. However when we opened the box the left back corner was dented. Not sure if it got damaged in shipping or packaging but since the dent is hidden under our countertop, we decided to keep it. Just needed to install the door handles. Very nice looking, quite running cooler. Love the adjustable wood shelves, we got it for our customers to enjoy and there’s lots of room for a variety of beverages. We like that we can separate temperature for the wine bottles too! Just got it, so hopefully it will last a long time! ... show more

    • A great wine cooler at a great price

MOST IMPORTANT: The customer service from the manufacturer is amazing. Truly. Top marks. We ordered two of these devices during the July Prime Day event because of the extra cash back from our Amazon Chase Visa Card. Unfortunately, when they arrived both of them were damaged. This was not the fault of the manufacturer - the fridges are packed very very well. Our shipper where we live is not super professional - we are out in the middle of nowhere. We worked with the manufacturer to resolve the issue. They helped us to diagnose the issues, and we ended up keeping one of the damaged ones and exchanging the other. The replacement fridge arrived and was also a little damaged, but again it was the shippers. The shelves are fine - not super smooth gliding because they are not on bearings, but solid and hold a lot of wine. Because the fridges are very deep it is possible to easily store bottles back to front and get 11 bottles per shelf. Temperature control seems good; we are seeing a couple of degrees F variation over the course of a day as the compressor goes on and off. Energy consumption is lower than I expected. My meter shows an average consumption of .7 kW h per day. When the compressor is running it uses about 1.2 amps at 120v. When the compressor is not running there is still some usage - about .21 amps. I do not really notice the noise when the compressor is running unless I stand right next to the device. Then I can hear it, but it is very quiet (a meter on my phone shows about 50db). All in all, I recommend these wine coolers. ... show more
