Who knew what I'd been missing by using these gems? Had seen them advertised, didn't see the necessity of using them. Then I was reading a review for a product to safely pack a bottle (or two or three) of wine/liquor to bring home during my travels and it mentioned using a packing cube after placing the bottle in this protective sleeve. It got me thinking! I ordered, used for the wine/liquor, but also helped manage the remaining contents in my bag. I don't forsee me going anywhere without packing in the cubes. The material is such that you can wipe down to clean if needed. Little diagrams on each cube provide suggested items to fit in each one. I was amazed at how much fit in each! I bought these packing cubes for a seven day trip and not only was I able to pack enough clothes for that trip, but it fit my carry on duffel bag perfectly (with the exception of the largest packing cube which I didn’t need). It genuinely surprised me how much clothes I could put in them. All in all, these cubes were a great space saver and if I hadn’t used them then I definitely wouldn’t have been able to fit as much into my duffle bag. While these are wonderful for any trip, they are especially helpful for longer trips when you need to make multiple stops. These were the perfect size for our European-sized carry-on suitcases. The laundry and shoe bags were very useful, and the compression bags for clothes helps me everything organized and maximizes the use of limited suitcase space. I ordered these for a trip to Europe in an attempt to pack more efficiently and in a smaller suitcase than I normally use. Wow! What a difference this makes--I don't know why I waited until middle age to get on the packing cubes train! This set was perfect....I love the variety of sizes and it allowed me to easily grab what I needed for different occasions and I was able to fit a whole lot more into the cubes than I expected. The laundry bag holds a lot more than it seemed at first which is also a bonus as when I got home I just needed to grab it and get started on my laundry. I was skeptical as I have used similar products with little impact. I have even used vacuum seal bags. These have some sort of voodoo magic. They hold more than what you think. Makes packing soooo much easier.
