Helmet arrived andin excellent condition. I was worried about the sizing because of some of the other reviews I read but I went by their sizing chart and it was extremely accurate. The helmet fit as though it was custom molded for my head. The gloss black was shiny and a very crisp vivid black coating. The fact that this also comes equipped with a quick release chin strap and an adjustable knob in the back is an added bonus. The knob I was concerned beforehand that it was some flimsy exposed plastic piece like a construction hard hat and it is not. It’s out of the way and very a comfortable fit. When adjusting, you can feel it slowly tighten to give an even greater fit. This helmet is well worth the money and I plan on buying another soon. It doesn’t look or feel like a budget helmet and actually looks like it is expensive. I am well impressed. The sun shade is also easy to lower and raise even though I probably won’t use it but it’s nice to have in case I forget my shades. Overall- very impressive and good quality and excellent fit! I got mine with the Vega helmet with the Patriotic Flag graphics and have received many compliments. The drop down sun shield works fantastic and fits over my Px. glasses. It does not rattle, is easy to use, stays in place, and has great clarity. I am pleasantly surprised at only about $80 how well this Vega Helmet is made. It fits great, and the adjustable headband is awesome when wearing a skull cap or beanie under helmet . I have an HD helmets that the graphic is pealing off after just 3 years that was cleaned properly w/ only warm water. This Vega is as good or better than my HD helmet, IMHO. Bottom line , glad I didn't save a few bucks, (or spend more) and be disappointed in a different brand ... show more

I received the helmet in a timely manner and it looked great right out of the box. The fit is good, the best part is the adjustable head band, like a construction hard hat type. That comes in real handy when riding and the wind feels like the helmet will pull your head off. The quick release chin strap is nice. No more waiting to put on or take off your gloves first. Once you get the right fit, then it's just a matter inserting the strap, clicking it closed and when taking it off, a simple pull of the releases tab and your helmet is off. The drop down visor is a nice touch. Even with riding glasses/goggles it's an added shade and protection. Although many people complain about "mushroom head", I say, oh well deal with it. Maybe doesn't look as cool as my non DOT, but I don't care about that. The paint scheme looks really cool. Overall, good helmet, good quality and really nice added features. There is some pulling up when riding in the wind, since I don't use a wind shield on my bike. But I just deal with it. The VEGA Warrior motorcycle helmet is the most comfortable, best-fitting helmet I've ever owned. The interior is nicely stitched, hugs your head very securely and keeps you cool. The flip-down shield is nice as it fits over my glasses. Extra shields are cheap and come in Chrome, Smoke and Clear. The quality and features are a step ahead of the rest of the lower-priced helmet competition with glasses-friendly drop-down shield, removable sun visor, and adjustable size. Half helmets are lite and really are super for glasses wearers. This Vega helmet is the best of it's style that I have ever owned. I have had a few different brands and pretty much liked most of them. This helmet checks all the boxes with me. Nice feel on the head. Adjustment knob is a great feature, buckling and unbuckling couldn't be easier. Flat black color. What more could you ask for? I bought a pair of Vega ear pads for keeping the wind noise down. My head size is 22.9 inches so I’m right between the medium and large. I ordered both the large and medium. Because of the adjustment feature they both would work, but the medium is the one I chose. It was slightly tight, but fit perfect after a few trips as it formed to my head. The white color helmet is a beautiful pearl white and shimmers in the light. The micro helmet adjustment is great and for the life of me can figure out why anyone would buy a helmet with that archaic d ring nightmare. The smoke shield pulls down and goes up with ease. I also bought the clear shield here on amazon for night riding. The shield pulls straight out and the replacement goes in just as easily. 15 second job. I was worried the helmet would pull up at higher speeds, but that was not the case. The shield is invaluable and works fine with my prescription glasses. I would like to see the shield made slightly larger for more wind protection. I was expecting to return the helmet quite honestly being from a no name company, but the truth is I love it and is my favorite warm and cold weather helmet. I pair the helmet with an Alaskan Hardgear Gaitor to cover my face. I also love the fact that they support the product offering different color shields and ear pads. I was looking for a 1/2 shell helmet because I sweat profusely from my head when I am wearing the full faced helmet in the summer. I find with this half shell helmet, I get a lot more air. My head does not sweat like it does in the full faced helmet. I like the fact that there is a knob in the back that you can adjust it to be tight against your head. The quick release mechanism is great. It is well padded. The sun shield gives extra protection from glare. It runs true to size, I have always purchased a medium in helmets, and this one fits perfectly in a medium. I would purchase again if I were in need of another helmet. ... show more
