    • Nice little tool with some good features. Had some validation code issues but this was resolved.

The code reader has some nice features for the price including graphing and will be handy for checking used cars before a purchase decision. One difficulty that I had though was that a validation code was needed to create an account and to download an update tool. The Vdiagtool website would send the code but it was only good for 5 minutes and it would time out before I could use it. I did finally get lucky one time and managed to get what I needed. I let Vdiagtool know about this difficulty and they have increased the validation time to 30 minutes so that this should not be a difficulty for others in the future. ... show more

This code reader worked great. Gave me precise codes. Thought I was going to have to go into the shop for repairs, but it showed me the reason for engine codes and they led me to defective gas tank cap. Cost 20.00 Dollars for new cap. 😁
