I am usually not in such a hurry to write reviews, but I just used this product a few minutes ago, and I am absolutely amazed! My bathroom sink has been partially clogged for a while, and, although a plumber had looked at it, it really didn’t improve. Mind you, I am very careful, not even brushing my hair where there is a danger of it going into the sink. I bought these little miracles on a whim, thinking they couldn’t hurt, but not expecting much help either. Wow, I am amazed! I just used one in my sink, and I could not believe the gunk I pulled out (sorry to be so graphic!). In addition, this little product not only pulled out an earring I had lost, but what looks like a nail (as in the hammering kind!) that someone must have dropped! And it’s so simple to use! The clog is gone and the water is running through perfectly now. I am embarrassed that my sink had gotten in such condition, but I am also thrilled at how much money I have no doubt saved on plumbing bills. This product more than lives up to its description. This tool alone did not do the job, but I was able to use this tool to get the hair clogged closer to the top so I could use other tools to grab it. I also used needle nose pliers, and a hooked end pointy driver. I had to insert the tool numerous times and pull the hair up with the pliers, but I couldn't have reached the hair without it. My drain is flowing much better now. I recommend just throwing it away after use. It is not worth reusing. ... show more

My little Vastar sat in the bathroom cabinet for at least 2 years until today when my bathroom sink clogged up! I had called a plumber about a year ago, forgetting that I had the it, and it cost me a fortune to have it cleared. Lo and behold, this gadget completely cleared the drain. There was just enough of a clog to handle it perfectly!! I will be using it every few months to avoid having to call a plumber ever!!! I only had one left, and have re-ordered a new package! Arrives curled up and you can't straighten it. Got stuck in the bathroom sink when dipping it in without removing the drain stopper. It was advertise as being able to do this, but it cannot. The clog remover is not thin. One side is as wide as a tape measure. It needs to be thinner to work well, as advertised. Dipped it into the shower drain which was a little clogged with hair and it removed nothing. ... show more
