I put this together myself... it took several hours, but you can do it alone. The directions are clear and easy to follow. It has a ton of storage and it looks so pretty once fully assembled. It's a good price for what it is. Side note.... the "bench" that comes with it is tiny.... think ottoman. It's an added bonus anyways, I just wanted the vanity, but you may want to plan on a chair if this is for an adult sized person. ... show more

Took maybe a few hours, an extra hand is extremely helpful and a rachett, but overall not difficult. Pretty decent for the price. Extra supplies for everything which was nice. The only thing we didn't realize is that 4 bulbs go on the sides and top...we didn't notice that you have to twist a peice near the bulbs to shorten the wire length. You need to twist them to make the distance between them shorter so you can fit 4. Once the sticky things are set on the mirror, good luck trying to get it off so make sure you have your spacing figured out first. We fixed our oversight by putting bulbs on the bottom. On the other hand, they will stick to the mirror very well. Overall I love this, my daughter loved it for her 10th bday. The stool has a compartment inside which she adored ... her secret compartment. ... show more

We had an issue with the lights stopping working and a piece did break from the stool. However the seller was always willing to make replacements at no cost and no hassle. If I knew how hard almost impossible this was to put together, I wouldn't have purchased, had to pay someone to help put the Vanity together, 35 pages of instructions.

I purchased this for myself when it went on sale one day and its a very nice makeup table. It took about 3 hours to put together. There are a lot of pieces. But everything is labeled well and the instructions were easy to follow. It's very sturdy and I love all the drawer space. There is so much storage space! One of my light bulbs was squished but they are plastic and I was able to take it off and pop it back straight. That lights have twist bottoms to wind the cord tight so it's not dangling loose. The lights also have 3 color/tone options and dim and brighten. The only thing I don't care for is the stool. It's sturdy but to small for an adult woman. I'm going to buy a nice chair for my makeup table. But I didn't purchase this for the stool and I'm very happy with the vanity. ... show more
