Let me start with the pro’s of this drum set: It was incredibly easy to put together. Wires are labeled clearly for connection. The sound is great, sounds like the real thing. Seems like it would’ve held up for the long run. Easy to move and sturdy. Now the cons: The chair is an issue. The top just kinda clamps down on the base so anytime I moved it to reposition, the seat came up and nearly off multiple times. The base drum pedal is super sensitive and hard to keep a straight beat, you really need a tower for accuracy. The high-hat and other symbols have a soft twist clamps on top to allow for movement, however it moves too much and often moved in a circle while I played. One symbol spun so easily I couldn’t even use it. The snare drum is very small and no matter how tight I made it, it still started to point down as I played. Good little starter kit for a child maybe, but anyone with power and a true will to play will be disappointed and return it like I did. ... show more

Quality is okay. Kind of shaky. My son has used it a few times now. We enjoy the headphone aspect of it. Size probably fits someone 10 or younger. We struggled with putting the stool together & now it is stuck on a higher setting. So far, I get it a 3. We will see how long it lasts.
