I was a bit cautious about this purchase because I typically don't buy anything on Amazon with sub-4 star ratings, but I took a chance on this couch and I'm glad I did. It shipped promptly and arrived in two large boxes - you'll definitely need two people to move the boxes and assemble this couch, but assembly was fairly straightforward. It took my friend and I a little more than an hour to get it fully put together. The cushions come flat in vacuum-sealed bags - I kept them in their packaging until it was time to put everything together, and they took about a day to fully fluff up. Note that the back cushions and armrest pillows are not exceptionally fluffy, as other reviewers have noted, but they definitely do the job and you could easily add throw pillows for extra comfort. I've had this couch set up for about a week now, and I mostly keep it in sleeper bed mode because it's so cozy. I have a pretty small apartment, and I love that I can host movie nights or have a friend stay the night if needed. It also works well as extra seating. The sleeper mode does not go all the way flat as pictured - you still have the backrest that stays upright - but seeing as I've fallen asleep on this couch multiple times, I don't think that will be an issue with overnight guests. The storage chaise is a huge plus for storing extra blankets or bedding too. The boucle fabric is very soft and looks amazing, but I will note that if you have pets, it's easy for them to snag their nails on. Just something to keep in mind! Couch is very well constructed, easy to assemble, and has some storage. However the matter is that I was very disappointed with the poor quality of these pillows, they’re not very comfortable and barely have any sort of foam at all, no thickness to the pillow at all. Got this to have an extra bed and sitting space in a room we’re redoing. The size was ideal, though the height is a few inches shorter than the measurements claim. Back support is pretty minimal - I used one of the small cushions behind the chaise cushion and it helps a lot. Wish they sent 3 of those instead of 2! Came in 2 boxes a day apart. (Amazon only shows 1 tracking number, but there will be 2 - seller was very responsive when I asked for the other number.) Boxes are very heavy but the pieces are all light. I just opened the boxes and carried the pieces downstairs for assembly. It went together pretty smoothly (one person, maybe 3 hours over 2 days), but I have one tip that might help. If you’re assembling this so the chaise arm is on the left (opposite of the product pics), you have to take the brackets off the sides of the chaise and switch them to the opposite side. If you look, you’ll see they are different and no amount of swearing will get the arm attached without this change. I tried. The chaise is very comfy, and I’m sure the couch part will be too once the cushions have inflated fully. It’s not expensive looking or super padded, but good enough for our purposes. I may get a topper for sleeping to have some extra padding, and a gripper mat to ensure the cushions don’t move during sleep. Finally the storage in the chaise is the full interior. Tons of room. We’re just going to store blankets and such bc I don’t think it will handle a ton of weight. ... show more

I ordered this couch and was a little nervous about it because there weren’t many reviews. I can say with confidence now after a month that it is the best couch for a studio or 1bed and you can’t beat the price. It’s small enough to fit in small spaces but still feels roomy. The cushions are firm but not uncomfortable and the fabric is soft in a nice color. It definitely feels stable and solid HOWEVER it is a bit of a pain to put together. It arrives in two boxes with a long instruction manual but it’s very straightforward and tools are provided. The storage bench is a little stiff/springy but the pull out function is great and overall I’m super happy with it for my apartment :) I recommend!! ... show more

First off, the product arrived one day early so that was already exciting! I was nervous to assemble the couch because I would be doing it alone, having no experience in building anything. But I figured with the instructional guide I could make it happen, and I did! By myself, I had finished assembling the couch within an hour, and it is SOOOO comfortable! We got rid of our older sofa for this one. We likes the chaise and ability to pull out to a bed/extra stretch room for legs. At first, I was at least satisfied with it. Had good seating and lots of storage space for blankets. After having it for a few months, however, I'm starting to wish we didn't get rid of our old sofa. First complaint, the cushions are hard and stiff. Not that thick so it's not exactly a sofa you can fall into. Next, the cushions have no security to the base. The slightest movement, all the cushions will shift, the back cushions also. Next, the slates underneath aren't super secure either. Everyday I have to reposition the slates so the cushion doesn't sink into the storage ares while you're sitting. Last, the backs are super low. Sitting up straight, it hits me just below my shoulders. Whenever I lean back a little too much, I feel like the backing will break from the base. We got the two-chaise model, not quite sure it's worth the price we paid, maybe half that price. Our older, cheaper couch was much more comfortable, and not as expensive, looking to replace this one in the future. ... show more
