To my surprise, they tasted far different than I would have expected a "Van Horton Tapatio Pickle" to taste. So, that being said, at first it was a bit off-putting. Because I am a pickle lover, I kept eating it, and by the third bite I found myself thinking "this is actually a really interesting and good tasting pickle." Not my definition of “sour” it tasted like your regular everyday pickle but it’s definitely a really great pickle tasting pickle in general. I am giving it 4 stars not because it’s sour but because it was a really good pickle.
