Delivered today folded in a box. I think this is made from fluffy woven clouds… it’s so soft! It was fun to unfold and place because the material is soft against my skin. My dog and I rolled around on it to smooth out the minimal creases. I’m sure they’ll disappear in time. Meanwhile, the pattern disguises the crease. I love the quality. The colors are true to the ad pics. It’s going to be a pleasure to do floor exercises on it! So, there was no smell at all - surprising, but true. It is thin and although the back seems plenty sticky enough to stay in place, I might buy a pad one of these days to make it even softer. Pull the trigger and buy this! ... show more

This rug is thin but it’s very soft. I love to walk on it in bare feet. I have it over carpet because my apartment is all gray carpet and I needed to tone down all the gray. It looks so good, the colors are exactly what I wanted, but I wouldn’t recommend it on carpet because it’s always moving. I’ve tried carpet tape and those rubbery rug mats and it still moves even with my couch over it. I just deal with it and readjust it because it looks so good in my living room. Love the rug, looks great in our son’s nursery, right size and was easy to place in the room. However, the rug is very hard to vacuum. Our Dyson is not able to vacuum the rug and we have to use an older traditional vacuum that is chorded. Rig is washable but would be nicer if it was easier to vacuum and clean. ... show more

I don’t write reviews often but this one deserves it! The color is exactly like the photo. It’s the SOFTEST rug I’ve ever felt! I have ruggable rugs in my living room and kitchen and they’re not soft and the colors were faded-looking when I got them. This is so much better! I didn’t have to lay anything on it to flatten it, it laid flat when I put it down. I couldn’t wash it in my washing machine but I’ll gladly steam and vacuum it. Great for a bedroom! ... show more

I bought a 100-year-old house almost three years ago and have since struggled to figure out what to do with my narrow front entryway. I have tried several boring shoe mats because I need function before style, this is my main entry point after all. I initially tried a runner rug from my previous home but it was too long to fit under the old door that needed to sometimes be closed off leading to the kitchen. Later, I tried another runner that was 2 feet wide and would end just before the french doors to the left of my entryway began. However, the rug looked cheap and was a bit too narrow to compliment my space. It made it feel smaller. After a few more measurements and searching, I decided on this 2.5 x 8 ft runner, which has it ending after my french doors but just to the edge of my kitchen door, allowing it to still open and close. It ends up really creating a warm and welcoming space because it leads people into my home to the bench seat and allows all of my old-fashioned doors to function. Rather than working against my cool vintage space, this rug enhances it. I'm also very pleased with how soft and thin this rug is. It grips the floor well without a rug pad. Although it was fairly inexpensive, it very much feels like a formal antique rug. My only complaint is that it is not super easy to wash, however, I feel for the quality of the product I've received and how much joy it brings to me each day, this is a fair trade. ... show more

These types of rugs are similar to shenille top of Ruggable. However, these are a very low pile with printed designs. That is why these rugs can be a hit or a miss. Personally, I think the longer the pile the worse it looks - it is neither traditional colored pile nor printed shenille. Instead of a separate rubber mat there is a thin rubber backing. We shall see how the rug holds through laundry. Ruggable is amazing and durable and it is totally worth the money. Many people complain about the price. However, if you end washing the rug at least twice, you break even. Plus, you can buy another rug using the original rubber mat which cuts the price in half. I needed a rug pronto and, currently, could not drop the money on the brand. So, I chose short tern convenience opposed to a long term investment. As I said earlier, the print is lovely. It is a darker, warm and sophisticated pallet. From across the room, it looks nicer and pricey. It is definitely more greige than green as shown in the photo. But, luckily, it worked in my dining room. Update: rug returned. After raving about the look of the rug, I tried vacuuming it. It is impossible. On a proper pile setting, the vacuum sucks the rug in because it is too light. When I adjust the pile setting to, essentially, 70's shag, the vacuum doesn't pick up all the debris, yet still occasionally ends up sucking in the rug. Cheep nightmare! I was able to purchase a chenille rug with cotton backing, which was really hard to find post pandemic. It is thin but heavy enough for vacuuming. In general, it is even harder to find good quality products after pandemic. ... show more
