I love these bags! Why? I am the worst packer around. This is a great set of bags because of the size variety. I try to put like items into the same bag. This works for small items, but bulkier items need to share bag space with lighter things. I seal the bag leaving about 2" open, then roll and squeeze the air from the bag then unroll the lumpy bag and put into the suitcase. Everything stays dry and not manhandled by Security. My full length Eddie Bauer rain coat was packed into a bag. Thankfully, when opened and left hanging for a bit, it was like new. It may be my imagination, but I don't think clothing wrinkles as badly when packed into these bags. It is also helpful with the bag system to remove one if the suitcase slightly exceeds the 50 lb limit. ... show more

So, this is my first time using these vacuum bags and I am soo mad I hadn't discovered them sooner⁉️ I will say I breezed through filling and vacuum sealing 2 bags and noticed that one had an air leak and I thought “these bags don’t work” BUT then I pushed the zipper thing up and tightly sealed the bag and resealed with the vacuum and it worked like a charm! No air leak and all the bags are sealed perfectly. The sealed bags are a little heavy, but that’s only because I stuffed them with tons of stuff! But I’m cool with that because either way, I wasn’t throwing anything away! 😂 I used the vacuum for the first 6 and then the battery died, I used the manual vacuum that came with it, worked just as good just took a little more muscle and time, but worked nonetheless. The white comforter is a king comforter, 2 king shams, a king sized sheet set with 4 cases!! (All in that bag with the white.) I’m ordering a combo pack now for a few other things around the house, but also to make packing or my next trip this much easier!! 10/10 recommend!! Update: one bag does have a slow leak but I’d definitely still recommend these bags!! ... show more

    • Great to Pack Away Out of Season Clothes/Bedding

This is the SECOND purchase of these Jumbo bags. It's important not to fill them beyond the line where it says to stop. I even give it a couple inches from there. I also trace the zipper 6 times (3 in each direction) to really secure the bag. Once it is vacuumed shut, it is as if I have suddenly added a ton of closet space. These bags are sturdy and do the job or I would not have ordered a second box. I have used 2 from this box and doubt I will need more for some time. I put 3 stars for traveling, because I feel these are TOO LARGE for traveling. I think smaller sizes are perfect, especially with the enclosed pump. I used my vacuum cleaner to draw out the air of these bags and it was quick work. ... show more

This variety pack is nice. It has lots of sizes and plenty of bags (if you need that many). I am an organizer and have recommended these and used these for a few clients. The bags are good quality and they really shrink down in size substantially (as you would hope). I would definitely recommend using a vacuum hose rather than the pump as it is much quicker and more effective at removing the air. ... show more

Would give it a 5 star but some would not hold vacuum more han 12 hours and they rip SUPER easy. However, it saved me for space saving and packing for a big hunting trip. Note: In the instructions it says you have to re-vaccum every 3 months. That kinda sucks. Over a 14 day period. 1/3 of the bags had lost their vacuum. Cool product. Product does what it’s supposed to do. Easy to use. Only problem I’ve come across is a couple months now that my blankets have been in the bag. I wanted to use them right away cuz it got cold but They all have a distinct smell. Gonna have to wash them.

I tried the HIBAG Vacuum Storage Bags, and my closet looks like it's been on a crash diet! These bags are like the personal trainers for my clothes, squishing them down to their svelte best.
