We got this bike for my daughter to commute to and from school. It comes unassembled with an instruction booklet and all the tools you need for assembling. It wasn’t difficult to assemble but does take some time to put together. The big 4 inch fat tires make the bike sturdy and rides smoothly. The large seat is nicely cushioned giving you a comfortable ride. This bike does have a lot of power and can go very fast as it has seven speeds going up to 32 mph. The LED screen is clear and easy to read. I like that there is a headlight for safety and nighttime usage. My daughter loves this bike and find it easy to use and fun to ride. We have searched for many other bikes and this is the bike that wins the prize. Great quality for a reasonable price! Highly recommend! ... show more

This was my first ebike, chosen after comparing specs with big name scramblers (Super 73, Revv 1, Macfox), along with other Chinese manufacturers on Amazon, Ebay, and Aliexpress in the $800-$1500 range. Glad I ordered mine before this production run sold out, the G60 surpassed my expectations. Cons: no damage to the box in shipping, but two issues I didn't catch until problems occurred: steel derailleur guard was bent slightly, interfering with shifting. Bent back into shape easily without breaking the welds, freeing the derailleur. Second issue was rear brake cable was loose at the handle - also easily adjusted once I saw the problem. These problems were not corrected until after the first twenty miles of riding, when the motor started to drop out while using the throttle. Checked the bike over, found and corrected the two mentioned problems, and have had no further performance issues. As brakes are linked to the controller, cable interference may have caused the motor dropout issue which has not recurred. There is a normal decrease in power as the battery depletes, as other reviewers have mentioned. It does take time to reach 28mph top speed with 150lb rider (32mph unloaded). I consider the performance of battery and motor to be in line with the G60 price point. Basic controls with a lack of user tunability is standard for this price range. Pros: Bike arrived in one week, packed very well with all tools included, requiring very little final assembly. Great frame design, quality components, great looks. Strong scrambler bike, assembled well from the factory. Excellent performance out of the box; plenty of torque, good controls. Nice lighting and a comfortable seat. The manual disc brakes are sufficient for the bike's top speed when properly adjusted. Great on the street and paths/horse trails. Does exactly what you'd expect it to, and it looks very good doing it - each trip out gets compliments from strangers. After 60 miles, no disappointments. For product support, David replied with a prompt and friendly email. Stock, it's more fun than it looks, and it looks like a lot of fun. Start pedaling to activate the motor, or just use the throttle. It's definitely more of a throttle bike vs pedal bike due to weight and layout. I've upgraded the tires to E-Huntsman 20x4, added a pair of $20 mirrors, and moved the headlight up to the top of the fork. The platform as a whole is a great design which begs for performance upgrades - tires, suspension, brakes. Knowing how well the G60 rides and handles, I could also see eventually upgrading the battery and motor to put it into the 40mph range, vs replacing the bike with another scrambler. The stock brakes work well with factory top speed of 28 under load, but if it were capable of higher speeds I'd want bigger brakes as the bike is heavy. Same goes for front fork and rear shock. The simplicity of the dash and large LED readout are well designed and great at night, but can be hard to read in direct sunlight. Still early in the recharge cycles, so far it looks like a 30 mile range mostly throttle. Recharge time seems to be around six hours. We'll see how these numbers hold up over time; I'm hoping to see two years of strong, consistent performance - which is in line with the product warranty. I'd recommend the G60 to anyone interested in a Super 73, Revv 1, or Macfox but stalling over those much higher price tags. Based on the build quality and performance, I'd buy another BFI Sport ebike (like the EB26) if I was looking for another bike in the sub $1K range. Electric vehicles are changing transportation worldwide, with ebikes at the front economical transportation. BFI Sport has delivered a great point of entry to the ebike market with the G60. Two month/250 mile update: sold my daily driver and now ride ebikes exclusively. The Amyet remains the favorite grocery getter due to it's speed and easy ride, and is now equipped with Ibera rack and panniers. On long, steep hills it eventually needs pedal assistance (hoping Statorade from Grin Technologies will improve that), but does great everywhere else. In an area where ebikes are just starting to become popular, the G60 still gets compliments and questions from people when I'm running errands. Love this bike. The bike is sturdy and well-crafted. The details, placements and design of the frame parts are perfect. The paint job on the bike is flawless also. As stated before, this bike is strongly made. The display on the handle bar works perfect during the day and night. Display shows speed, battery power and other settings which I haven't really tried yet. Near the grip is a smaller control panel. Easy to push and get to. This smaller control panel or box, allows you to set the speed limits, also has a horn here(no visible horn, but beeps loud). There is a rear view light located behind the seat, controlled by a switch on the control panel signals either turning left or right. Has a cool round headlight with a designed cage to protect the light. The headlight has a very visible built in glow reflector which on its own is on at night, but also has a switch on the control panel to turn on/off the main headlight. Goes very fast and easy to control. I've been up to 33 mph. Battery can be easily charged with an included adapter. When connected to the bike, the battery has a button on it when pushed shows a red/yellow/green digital meter to display the power remaining. Every morning I take the bike 8 miles back and forth to a park, which takes an 1 1/2 to walk to - one way. With the bike, takes which feels like 10-15 minutes one way. It does very little to the battery power. I take the bike mostly on the streets and handles very well. If cars are moving too fast, I just hop on the sidewalks and go that route. You can also pedal the bike if wanted, also has assisted pedaling which gives an extra boost. Seperate front and rear handle bar breaks which also work great. Kick stand also very strong/sturdy and easy to kick up or down to release it. I can't compliment this bike enough(guess I already have) but it deserves it. Not to leave out, has places to put a custom license plate in the rear, and a basket if wanted near the seat. Also tons of accessories can be bought here from amazon for the bike. I've so far purchased helmets, a rain resistant bike cover, handle bar mirrors, an alarm and a small pouch on the front of the frame. Next will be a custom license plate in the memory of our english bulldog Winston. Lets go! ... show more

this bike came unassembled but easy to put together. it came with instructions. it will take time though. everything came with the box to put everything together. my son used it to ride to and from school. it was very sturdy. the braking was smooth not jerky as some e-bikes were. It did have some speed to it, so a lot of power. the tires were hefty making it sturdy and safe when maneuvering. i liked the fact that the battery can come off and be charged elsewhere if needed. lights worked great in the dark. overall nice bike. ... show more
