Pretty surprised by this coat! I've never heard of this brand before, but got it for my husband as he needs a new winter coat. The coat itself looks and feels well-made. The outer shell has a water repellant coating, and the inner lining is made with a warm fleece (and also lines the inside of the hood). Speaking of the hood, the hood is detachable (via zipper) and has drawstrings to adjust how open or closed it is. The sleeves have straps near the wrists, so you can adjust how tight they sit by your wrists. We haven't had any winter weather yet, but my husband tried it on (he wears a Medium) and it was a pretty good fit but does run a bit large. He wore it around the house for a few minutes and said he got pretty warm, so it sounds like this will be perfect at keeping him warm this winter. Great coat! ... show more

The warmth of this jacket is fantastic. I’m a large guy and the fit is perfect. Very comfortable to wear and has lots of pockets for storage. Not super heavy in stores away well. I like how the neck zips up far enough to protect any wind from entering the jacket and it seems to be holding up well!

I liked that this black, medium size, ski/rain jacket fit me perfectly and felt very cozy and warm. I like its simple design, thick inner fleece lining and detachable hood. I have tested it on cool fall mornings and look forward to using it in winter. I gave it 4 stars because I felt the branding was over the top. The "V.A.TOR 189 UNCO&BOROR" brand is in bright yellow, large and every where on the Jacket: front, shoulder, hood. I took a black acrylic paint pen to it in order to dim it down. Well, it hasn't gotten quite cold and rainy enough, at the same time, for me to really put this jacket to the test, but where I live that could take a few more months. So, I tried the jacket on, and it was bulkier than I thought it would be, in a good way; more insulation than I thought it would have, but it still fit me perfect for a medium. I put one of the sleeves under a water faucet, and the water just rolled right off. It really does act waterproof. Also, it's got pockets in the right places. Left and right outer pockets, outer phone pocket over chest, and an inner chest pocket too. The jacket looks sharp, and I'm sure it's going to make the almost-daily multi-mile fitness walks I do all year around much more enjoyable and convenient when the weather gets colder. ... show more
