When I received my order I initially had some small bubbles and cloudiness in my first products made with my home molds. I I let the company know and they contacted me immediately to work with me on the results. They gave me some suggestions and we work together emailing back-and-forth continuously. The customer service person I worked with was so conscientious if I did not reply in a couple of days they would check on me and see how things were going !! I must say I’ve never had this before. There were some questions about my mold and if it was contributing to my results. The company sent me a new kit of resin with a mold and continued to work with me. In the end I was very satisfied, I got a quality result and excellent customer service. That is most rare these days. This stuff is great. It’s easy to use and I didn’t notice a smell. The booklet it came with states it’s not toxic. For anyone experiencing issues with stickiness, check your lamp wattage. This resin calls for a 34W lamp. I have a 54W lamp now, but first time around I had a 6W lamp and what do you know? It never cured. It cures within 2-3 minutes with that lamp and it’s crystal clear. Bought this product on a whim because I love their epoxy resin and I was NOT disappointed. I have tried several other brands that always end up with a tacky finish that requires me to cure each piece in direct sunlight for an extended period of time just to get rid of the tackiness. In 4 minutes, under my 36W UV lamp this resin dries hard with no tacky finish!! I normally use this for doming epoxy pieces and it gives them a beautiful clear sheen and the perfect domed effect. I really, really like this UV Resin kit. Granted, it was my first time ever using resin and making resin jewelry so I don't have anything to compare it to but it was super easy to work with and very good quality from what I can see. I made a necklace from a blue morpho butterfly wing that I found(butterfly already dead) when visiting Colombia, South America. I also made a pendant with some tiny flowers my husband had put in my hair this past Christmas. I am not a professional artist and like I said, this was my first time ever using resin so my jewelry probaby has some mistakes but I love how the necklaces turned out. The resin is clear and doesn't have a strong smell. The UV light that came with the kit worked just as it said it should and the instructions were easy to understand. The resin hardened very quickly with the light which is a huge plus. Also really liked the silicone mat and the stirring sticks that came with the kit. I put the butterfly on the mat and was able to use the resin without making a mess. I used the stirring sticks to smooth out the resin over the wing so that worked out great. Overall I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family. ... show more

This stuff is amazing! As you can see in the photos, I used this for a topcoat on a wood/epoxy project. I wanted something that would bring the shine back to the other epoxy and protect it with a hard coat at the same time. This stuff does an amazing job at both! The black epoxy you see is a different 2-part epoxy, the clear coat is this UV resin. I haven't had it long so I can't review it for yellowing as I don't know how it will hold up over time. It does cure in 2 minutes under the light provided. It is very clear. It has the consistency of maple syrup when not cured yet so it can hold a convex form pretty well and is easy to apply. This is not the first substance I have tried for a topcoat on this keychain, but it is definitely the one I'm sticking with. I am very happy with this product and will most likely buy more in the future for more of my projects. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is my first time using UV resin. I looked up several videos and read many reviews to find the one that seemed like the right fit for me. It was easy to use right out of the packaging. Simple instructions assured me that I was using it correctly. I’ve heard people talk about a strong odor with UV resin, and while there is a smell to it, I didn’t find it to be strong at all. No different than using glue. And much better than E6000!!! My tumbler toppers are coming out beautiful. Sturdy, clear, and so fun to make! The light that comes with this set is simple and effective. It would be great if the light had a longer cord as I have to make sure to pull my surge protector directly under the front of my desk to plug it in, but it’s not a big deal. I could always use a small extension cord. The light’s legs fold in for super compact storage. For items that are too tall to slide underneath the light with legs extended, I just hold the light above it. I plan to order this resin again and again! ... show more
