I was a little anxious about getting the newer formula. I am pleasantly surprised and delighted with the ease of use and the results. The viscosity is perfect. What I especially love is that are virtually no tiny bubbles. My pieces cured perfectly in my UV lamp in 180 seconds. It is also a good value for the size. Let me first say that this is the first review I’ve ever left on Amazon and I’ve been a customer for about 8 years, Mr. Resin is by far the best resin out there! I’ve tried them all, 100% better than resin rockers, does not curl, is not sticky and Chad no odor! Forever customer here !!!

    • Bomb resin, worthless uv light
The resin is great! Honestly it’s 5 star quality stuff. However the reason I give this purchase 4 stars is because it also comes with a uv light for curing. This tiny little light is worthless for anything substantial in size. Maybe if you’re putting an ultra thin coat of uv nail polish on, this thing would do the trick...but anything more than that and you should just invest in a proper curing light/setup. I got a bigger, more powerful uv light and lined the inside of a box with aluminum foil (reflective side facing out) and cut a hole in the top, large enough for the light. I can now cure this stuff in minutes. Honestly, a uv flashlight would have done a better job than this little light. It cures beautifully. I mostly cure outside in the sun and it works for my crafting projects. I've never had a problem with tackiness even when adding in glitter, mica powders, and colorants.

    • Clear non yellowing uv resin
Size: 500 Grams
Best uv friend on the market. I jave been buying it for about 3 years now. Definitely worth the price. Doesn't dry tacky and is extremely clear without yellowing. I used it for smoothing 3d prints keychains, earrings , and stickers.

    • Nice Results If Not Polishing
I found this UV resin quite easy to work with. The included UV light is effective though annoying to have to turn back on over and over when the timer completes. The results have no bubbles and is crystal clear especially if you hit it with a little heat after application. It is a little thicker than I wanted for applying as a final coat to jewelry, but again if you hit it with a heat gun, it will reduce the viscosity and drip off. The issue I found was with polishing the final result. Even after full curing time and leaving the item in the sun for several hours, it was still slightly tacky to the touch. Polishing the resin resulted in it "melting" slightly and smearing. It was near impossible to polish crystal clear. This may have been user error of some kind, I am not sure. What I ended up doing, for anyone that runs into this, is finishing off the item with a coat of automotive clear coat that I had lying around. It worked beautifully. It was crystal clear, very thin, and easily polished, especially with automotive wax and buffing compound. Hope this works out for you. Good luck ... show more
