I’ve got a semi-public coat rack out of necessity, and I’m amazed at how quickly these coat hangers disperse through the building. Fortunately these are both good-looking and inexpensive. I’ve got no idea how durable they are because I’m sure I’ve never had one for more than a year. There are many nearly identical hangers like this at similar prices. These particular ones are straight (vs. curved) and are somewhere in the middle of the light vs dark finishes I’ve come across. The hanger spins. It doesn’t screw in to the frame, it’s molded in place (the hanger body isn’t exactly wood, it seems to be a skinned, micro-cell, wood imitating foam). I love wooden clothes hangers because they are easier on clothing. These are no exception. There are no rough spots to snag sweaters or delicates, and they really just hold clothing securely and don't leave 'shoulders' in your garments when you take them off the hanger. The fact that they look good is just a bonus. For the money, this is a very wise investment as these hangers look like they'll last for many, many years. Second time buying this item and is super good; also looks beautiful. Price is much better than buying 2 or 3 packs in Marshall or Ross. I would recommend having the grip plastic for pants, It can be slippery.

Not all are the same length (tolerance must be +/- 0.5 inch). Some are quite rough also as though they weren't sanded/deburred. That said, these hangers are an overall great value and really make my closet look classy. They are sturdy enough for work pants and wide enough for most of my plus size blouses.
