No it's not the thickest but that doesn't matter much to me. It looks to be reversible with the print, different on both sides but I'm a "stick to same thing" kinda gal. It's lightweight and doesn't weigh down your legs and ankles like fleece blankets can when layered up. I bought this to finally have a comforter, something I've never had and was always relying on cheap fleece blankets piled up because I could never afford anything at one given time. I found this for $36 or so and I washed it immediately before it touched my bed. It fit snug in my small washer but got clean and dried beautifully without bunching up anywhere. I personally love it, it seems very durable and fit my large king bed accordingly. Things happen in life, and I'm sure someone somewhere will have a negative experience or defective one especially when thousands have reviewed this item. I have nothing to lose or gain by stating this is good quality and good for all seasons. I layered a light plush blanket on top so my cats aren't making biscuits on my new comforter and it's fluffy enough to be extremely comfy in bed. I like soft and airy. There's loops on each corner for a "duvet" that I have yet to figure out what the purpose of one is. I always thought it was just a comforter, but what do I know? Honestly the blanket it really good for all season. It’s light weight, it’s fits my queen size bed ok. It really depends on how high you have the bed so if you have a normal sized small height it covers the bed completly but if it’s taller it leaves some space. I like for my blanket to drape the side of the bed but it’s preference, I would have gotten bigger size because of it. However the appearance overall is pretty decent for the price. I haven’t tried it with an insert but when I do I’ll review it. I have washed it every week since April and it’s been hold up great. Rarely any like bits of balls (idk how to call them) on the blanket, I use to have a lot of issues with like little balls coming to the top from the wash and it made it look old but this one has held up. Only thing I would say is it’s not accurate to the picture with the fluff. It’s not as fluffy and full as it shows on the picture. It’s not awful either just if you want more fluff I would recommend something else. ... show more

When I received this comforter in the mail the package was so small I thought it must be really thin . Upon opening it I realized that all the air was pulled out of it to package and mail in the most efficient way. The comforter filled out to a beautiful, fluffy comforter. It's a really good value, but it only has loops in the four corners--I'll need to sew extra loops on the sides to match with the duvet cover, so it won't slide around inside the cover so much.
