I bought this to mount extended over my fireplace mantle (see picture). I'm happy with all the adjustment/tilt features. My 55 lb TV moves silently and smoothly even when fully extended from the wall. Installation was pretty straightforward with one exception: the included paper template was slightly the wrong size, which could have caused me to drill unusable holes for the four lag screws. One other nit is that the TV slides perhaps too easily left/right on the mount. I added some tape (see photo) to prevent sliding. ... show more

The hardest part of installing this mount is figuring out where to put it. My TV was 65"and I had a fixed area that I wanted to put it in that was also impeded by a banister wall. Once I located the studs it all went perfectly. The TV itself just hangs on the cross bars and is strapped in place with brackets. Very easy install. The only down side I had was with the cabling behind the TV. It's makes it a little stiff to point it where I want it. Right now we're working on the furniture placement so we putz around a bit moving it this way & that. The TV itself is only 1" thick so just grabbing it and pulling/pushing feels risky. Would have been nice to have some sort of hidden grips that attached to the frame rather than the TV for that purpose but honestly no mount I looked at had that either. ... show more

Mounted a 65in TV with these, they are solid and easy to set up. The hardest part is lifting the TV onto the mount, and I like these have hooks on the TV VESA mount so that you can rest the TV on the mount while you are securing it down.     • Excellent mount for 85" Samsung

We used this mount for our Samsung 85" OLED 4K TV. It was a super easy install! After removing our old 75" from the wall, we mounted the brackets to the back of our new TV. We then installed the wall mount on the TV with the TV sitting on its legs on out TV stand. We slid the entire thing back and marked the bracket up against the wall. We knew we wanted it 5" higher than the current location so we marked it up an additional 5". Doing it this way made it ultra easy to know exactly where the TV would rest in comparison to the stand. Using the including template from the new mount, I marked the new location on the wall, drilled new holes in the studs for the bolts, and mounted the bracket up with 4 lag bolts. Easy peasy!! Secured the TV to the mount and done. Range of motion is great and it also lets you angle the TV down for glare. It's amazing to watch an 85" TV move around effortlessly with the use of this mount. I have tried 4 different wall mounts, this is the best. Supports 75" TV with ease, moves in and out to alow access to all ports which is our primary need. It also has a good range of motions, left and right and tilts up and down. I have just bought a second one.
