This little guy is an excellent microphone, and the price is wildly competitive especially when bought on sale. The sound is incredible and it legitimately competes with mics triple the price. I use this for both work and gaming on two different PCs, and I don't have to have it directly in front of my face (or on-camera) for it to pick me up. The build quality is a lot of plastic, yes, but it doesn't feel cheap or flimsey. I love the capacitive mute on the top and the RGB that indicates you're muted is an excellent touch. Even though the included tripod was actually quite nice, I did get a boom arm to free up some desk space. Compatibility was no issue; the only tweek necessary was tightening the resistance on the arm so it didn't fly into the air, as the microphone is so lightweight. I have 3 children at home so it can be a bit noisy here...lol. I can go onto my video & audio discussions with children in the background & have yet to have someone say anything about the background noise. Quality is great!!! It's lightweight which made me question build quality but my daughter has knocked it onto the floor at least 3 times & not a dent, scar, Crack, or audio problem. Easy installation and setup. So, this is actually a different version I had bought already in the past. That one, however, was a gift and was the one with the boom arm instead of the tripod. But that isn't changing how I feel about the microphone overall. It's solid, easy to use and set up, has a fairly long USB-C cord and is very easy to move around when you don't need to use it. In addition, it works well with Audacity, and with OBS, or just a standard voice call over Discord as well. Is it the *best* microphone you can get? Not necessarily, no. But is it a GOOD intro microphone? Absolutely, yes it is. Though I do wish the "tap to mute" feature would work a little better, and you could customize the RGB when in use, it's still a solid microphone and I'd recommend it to anyone needing a decent intro mic for their set up. ... show more
