UPDATE: Changing my rating to only 1 star because these cables will not last. I love the design and it would be great if the cable were durable. I had one that stopped working in just a few days. I got a second (3.3ft) cable and treated it with utmost care, and it lasted a little more than a month and has become intermittent. Third cable - very careful, but less than 2 months before failing. The problem is at the ribbon cable/flat connector. I hope someone solves this issue and comes out with a product that has similar flat connector.. I really like the design of this cable for connecting to my folding smartphone while on a stand, or while I'm using/holding it while needing something plugged into the USB connector - it's just what I want. It is not what I'd call "highspeed" - 480mbps is buried in the product spec page - 480mbps is USB 2.0 data transfer rate. I have a USB 3.2 gen 2 capable devices and this cable is going to be 10 times slower - I saw it with my own eyes testing an external SSD with this cable versus real highspeed - or SuperSpeed. It's all very confusing - I wish there was a cable similar to this that really supports high speed USB 3.2. ... show more

Bought this back in May and it only last reliably until August. If you have an Otterbox it was perfect cause you could close your dustflap. But everyday use has taken its toll and it no longer charges effectively. I tries swapping the two sides around but that did little to alliviate the issue and now it is just a paperweight. Nice quality finish, I use this for my wireless car charger that is hard mounted. Since it’s hard mount I don’t have to worry about the cable getting damaged but I suspect it would be just as durable if you wanted to plug in a Nintendo switch.
