    • Economically reflects heat, crinkly look is nice
First, know that reflective insulation needs an air gap between the heat source and what you're trying to keep cooler. Like 3/4" or 2cm of well-ventilated air. The foam is thin so won't offer much resistance to heat transfer by itself. The foil bounces back the heat, so install it right & you'll be impressed what something so thin can do. I got the white vinyl on the back side so it will stick with adhesive better than the 2 foil faced type. My 1st application is to reflect heat back to an oven which sits right next to a refrigerator - I'll update if I have any issues. But this is perfect for the job: thin enough to leave some air to convect heat away, yet with some foam insulation to protect the adhesive. I like the surface appearance. It's wrinkly from the foam, so it won't look like a giant plastic mirror on the wall. I had some questions about the product, and the owner, Mike, was quick to reply. Material is very cheap and will not withstand outdoor as item Described its not even foil backed. I paid 50$ per roll (250$ total) To ship them back they want 360$ That’s unbelievable.

I bought 2 rolls of this. Cause I'm revamping I bought 2 rolls of this. Cause I'm revamping my trailer. So I can run around and the heat and I have it so hot inside. Works great love it

    • Reflective warmth
I used this radiant foam in a bit of a different application than what average customers probably use it for…I cut it to size and placed it beneath the rugs inside my tiny house. The floors of my tiny house get quite cold because I don’t have insulation beneath them (blame it on my ex-husband!). Anyway, I used a thermometer gun to check the temperature readings, and I found that the rugs beneath which I installed this foam are typically 5-7 degrees warmer than the rugs beneath which I had not installed it. Needless to say, I purchased another roll of this foam to install it beneath the remaining rugs in my tiny house. I would certainly recommend using it for the same purpose for anyone with poorly insulated floors! ... show more

    • Excellent insulative properties
I purchased this product to insulate the side walls of my greenhouse where I propagate aloe, other succulents, winter vegetables and flowers. I also grow seedlings during the winter. Last winter's blast here in Round Rock Texas overwhelmed my existing insulation. (Just thick plastic sheathing). I decided to try this product. Not only was it strong, it was easy to work with and conformed to the corners and eaves with no trouble. Stapled in easily with good tensile strength. I've already noticed a dramatic difference in the ambient temp and when running a small 1500 watt heater, the greenhouse is tight and toasty. Above all, along with the insulation came a letter from the owner of the company urging anyone with questions or concerns to call or email directly. I'm an old school guy that really appreciates that sort of customer service. I would recommend this product for a variety of uses. It certainly fit the bill for me. ... show more
