Easy to follow instructions. Immediate difference in heat coming off inside of garage door. Didn’t measure the temperature change but has to be at least 20 degrees based on pure feel. Turns out I had an oversized 2 car door and end up a couple panels short unless I used scrap pieces for the last 2 panels. On a whim I called the owner (who’s number was conveniently displayed in the instructions) and within in minutes he responded and offered to send me an entire extra roll for my remaining panels…at no charge! That’s what I call 5 star customer service. Highly recommended. Just be aware that you need to take your time and follow the instructions. Will take several hours to get everything measure, cut, taped and installed. ... show more

    • Great kit, but adhesion is a booger!
Super easy to install, but the two sided tape sent with the kit was ineffectual. I used several roles of gorilla tape, and even then the insulation panels came loose in spots. I've since used a hot glue gun and so far so good. We'll see how it stays on the second winter.

I completed this install last weekend. Here is how it went for me. I’m a female who did this by herself in a garage that was in the high 90s. This easily took me 5 hours. The longest part of the install for me was taking the 3 hurricane bars off (10 screws each) and putting them back on at the end. That part would have been easier with a second set of hands and saved me over a hour. Plus the extreme heat slowed me down, so take that into consideration. Otherwise, this project isn’t hard - just take your time. Clean all your surfaces, apply all your tape, and grab the rolls 1 at a time. I started on the bottom left first, and worked from left to right. I did a panel section at a time. I lined up the bottom and stuck the tape first and once that was set I went back and did the same on the top. Then take your knife and run it along the top of the panel to get a great fit. I had about 2 feet to cut from the end of the roll too. I also took the time to cut around the hinges so the look is clean and it’s insulated everywhere it can be. Once the bottom panel was done, I moved up to the second panel from the bottom, and followed the same flow throughout the project until all panels were complete. It’s 100 degrees outside now and my garage is no where close to that hot. This is a great product and investment for your home. ... show more

We have moved many times and I’ve always cut my own 4x8 sheets of insulation for my garage door’s. This time i was tired after moving and didn't have a easy way to get the sheets back so i decided to give this a try. Huge mistake… Ive been working on this for months trying to get the cheap 1/4 inch insulation to stick to the tape. The seller responds quick and sent other tape a couple times but none of it worked and isn't tacky enough, or the insulation just doesn't bond well to the tape. I’m constantly needing to reattach the insulation. When it holds temporarily the heat radiates right through the thin insulation here in AZ. Now i have another bigger problem… The tape residue is a freaking mess all over the garage that’s going to take days to get off with a high quality solvent not to mention poisoning myself with the closed garage door getting the melted adhesive off. Im going to need at least 10 or 20 cans of Bestine to get all the melted mess off our brand new garage door and more than likely days of labor… It’s that bad ! I don't like leaving bad reviews and the seller has great costumer service but man this has been a drag. I kick myself for not doing it the right way. ... show more

This is a great product and I'm even more impressed with superior customer service by Mike (the owner whose contact is provided in the instructions). I have a Wayne Dalton Door that I didn't know before I order it. As clueless I was, I texted Michael after receiving the product. Within minutes he responded. After a few messages and a phone call, I was given clear instruction on the steps of installation with pictures. Michael even offered to call him back when I finish taping to make sure I have it right before installing which I did. He gave me a thumbs up so I continued. These all happened on the weekends. Fast forwarded a few weeks later, I got my first four panels installed and while on the last one, I mismeasured and trimmed too much and it now wouldn't fit on the door. I contacted Michael again and told him I needed to order one extra panel due to my mistake. He offered to send me an extra roll at no charge! This is really a 5 star customer service. I will highly recommend to anyone on the market looking for garage door insulation products. The kit looks nice on my garage door and I can already tell the difference - my garage is much warmer from before. Thank you, Mike!! ... show more
