I am very pleased with the fine quality of this product. I have been using it on my parents determinate tomato plants that were almost dead! I am happy to say that they have new green leaves now along with additional flowers. It is being used every third watering at the recommended amount 1T per gallon. Take note that it drains out fairly good before it is reapplied. I used this at the above rate on my garden that doesn't drain well and it burned them. I made a mistake of not checking the fertility of the soil before I applied this. I suggest using this a little less than the recommended rate if you have loamy clay to mostly clay soil. Be sure to check the fertility of your soil once a month to reduce risk of burning your leaves. ... show more

I started using this and Texas Tomato Food last season, and I can attest to the fact these fertilizers work great. For tomatoes, I use the Vegetable fertilizer until I start seeing lots of blossoms and fruit set, then I switch over to Texas Tomato Food. I continue using this on all other vegetable plants. Used this product in my garden. Did very little to enhance my veggies. I was very disappointed. I found other products did better.

Ok for a ready made fertilizer. If your soil is poor definitely use it. Mine is rich so didn't provide tat little extra I was looking for.
