I've had at least 6-7 different Bluetooth speakers in my golf cart over the last few years. This speaker sounds much better than anything else I've ever heard. Bass is rich, voices and instruments are clear. Haven't run the battery out yet so I can't say how long it lasts but I've managed 54 holes with it without having to recharge. Plus this thing gets so loud you're not going to play it anywhere near full volume on the course so that should help battery longevity. There's an equalizer button that switches between 3 modes. I haven't figured out which equalizer button color coincides with each setting but for what it's worth I think the setting that lights up the green button sounds best. Great speaker! Give it a shot. I can't see anyone being disappointed with it. Also, I've used the JBL Charge 5 as a golf cart speaker. It may be a better speaker overall but that's up for debate and the JBL just rolls around in the cart. That gets really annoying after a few holes. The magnet on this speaker is really strong and convenient to stick on the cart roof arm. I used a tiny hex wrench to tighten the bolts on the magnet on day one and it's been amazing ever since. ... show more

Bought a “used” one via Amazon. Pros- The magnetic is strong and holds the speaker to golf cart roof frame upside down without any movement while bumping around. Bluetooth connectivity is also great, can walk away quite a distance before losing connection. Cons- Sound quality is good BUT sound decibel level is a little on the low side for its size. I get that it’s designed for using on a golf course but sometimes you gotta just cut-loose! I have a Sony brand that’s a cup holder size and has way higher output and also a of couple of Eco-xgear that I pair and jam with when outside. So bottom line, I would recommend this if you’re looking for one that stays in place and using it for golfing. I still use it if I’m just cruising around in my neighborhood but I switch to other speakers if it’s party mode with other neighborhood golf cart junkies lol. ... show more

Bought these speakers a couple years ago one took a tumble a couple times from hitting hard bumps, (going to fast) and it quit. Ordered a new one could not get it to pair. I'm an insurance agent and purchased a pair of these for use during our outdoor events such as golf tournament hole sponsorships, Pride festivals, Home Shows, etc... I left them in my office over the weekend to fully charge them up, so today when I got back and paired them (super freaking easy), and tested them out... I ordered a few different speakers to test out and ended up returning all of them except the Upside Super XL Pro. It has a great sound. I especially like the fact that I can pair two speakers together. We use this at our campground and allows us to keep the volume lower at night since we have two speakers playing on each side of the campfire. Our neighbors appreciate it and friends love the sound quality. We attach them to the golf cart magnetically when we go tooling around the campground.
