My old alternator was the original and finally decided to die on me. This alternator was a direct replacement and bolted on. Its working great with no issues. Only time will tell on how long it will last.

I ordered this alternator for a 2005 Honda Accord, and although I haven't had the chance to install it yet, I am already impressed with its quality. The alternator has a nice, sturdy feel to it and seems to be built with durability in mind. It’s definitely got some heft, which is always a good sign of solid construction.
