As my title says, I installed this in our 2009 Civic Si and so far after a little over a month, it's been working just fine. The real test is time and hopefully I don't have to change this out after 6 months or even a year. The OEM alternator lasted from 2009 to August 2024. IF this fails before it should or otherwise unreasonable time, I'll make sure to update this review of it. For the price, it's much cheaper than Honda OEM (by a LOT) and less than half the cost of what local big chain parts store want for one too. ... show more

    • Will Power All the Electronics You Can Put Into a Honda Civic...
My nephew's son has a Honda Civic that he's turned into some sort of mobile stereo system with huge bass things - there isn't even a back seat any more. Not my style or taste but I did pity him blowing batteries all the time with his stock alternator so we put this in together as a project. Man, oh, man does it put out AMPS! The car lights up like a Christmas tree and the sound booms out. No more problem with powering everything plus the higher energy coils on the engine he's installed. Great power! ... show more

Nice alternator. It arrived pretty quick and came well package. So it gave me a good first impression. The quality of the Alternator seem quite good frankly, it feels super sturdy and well made. We have not yet installed it but looks promising and exactly as described. Will buy again.
