I have been using motion lights for about 10 years outside and throughout my house. I find this product bright and streamlined and have replaced other units with it. After having the adhesive fail repeatedly, I exclusively used the loop at the top to hang the item with a small nail. This works well. The adhesive is not powerful enough to withstand the force of gravity over time. And once the metal piece falls out of the middle of the back, it is useless. Nevertheless, hanging with a nail is better. If it stuck too hard to the wall you couldn't take it off (easily) to replace the batteries. There is not a lot of light in my parents' house and they are getting older, so after some research, I purchased a 10-pack battery operated motion sensor LED lights to install around their house. I mainly put them by light switches so that they know where they can get more light if they need, and also in the restroom. What I like about the lights: 1. They are very bright. So much that my parents use their restroom without turning on the main light. 2. The motion sensors work great. I installed 8 already and they all work the moment they sense motion. 3. There are three ways to install them: with mountain tape, with the provided screws, with the magnetic disc. I used the provided screws because it is more secure and I intended for them to be a permanent fixture of my parents' house. The light comes with a built in magnet and a metal disk with adhesive on the side so that you can install it on none-magnetic surfaces. 3. They are a lot smaller than I thought. What could be improved: 1. The least secure way to install them is to use the built in magnet. Any semi-strong vibration will dislodge the light due to the weight of the batteries and light. 2. Packaging could be better since when I opened the box, the lights were in different locations in the box. So far, that doesn't seem to damage any one of them. It has been more than two weeks since I've installed them. They continue to work great. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These little LED Lights works very well and bright. No more steps guessing at night. I put an extra one in kitchen and bathroom. It's so bright that we don't even need to turn the regular light on. Buying a second set for my parents new house.

These lights are excellent for in cabinets. I purchased 2 sets and they are bright as ever ..I placed one in the FREEZER too and IT IS STILL WORKING LIKE A CHARM!! Yes, the FREEZER, LOL I did a test trial to see the durability and stability of lighting up my freezer's inside...39 days and still going strong..and yes, I use my freezer several times a day opening and closing...I put these lights to the test and they certainly have passed with flying brightness and durabilty! Buy them, they are perect size ,adhere, sense the motion perfectly as described and are BRIGHT! You won't be disappointed and they are priced just right..You get 10 of them!! ... show more

I was happy with the amount of light that this provides, but the problem I had with them is that they don't recycle fast enough. That is to say, once they turn on and off again, they don't come back on for quite some time again. I guess it takes them a few minutes to reset. Since the light only stays on for about 20 seconds, you will be in the dark until the unit resets and comes on again. For that reason I am going to buy some lights with an actual switch, so that they will stay on when light is needed. A switch on these would have solved the problem, but they do not have that feature. Too bad. I had such high hopes. UPDATE: I discovered that, if you place your hand over the light (Literally, if you cover it with your hand) then it will immediately turn on just as if it had a switch. It will time out again, but all you need to do is put you hand over the light again to turn it back on. This being the case, these lights do meet my needs. Also, after reading my review, the seller offered a refund without being asked. When I told them that I wanted to keep the lights and that I did not want a refund, they still asked if there was anything that they could do to make it right. I told them that there was no need for further action. So, I can tell you that this seller is wonderful and you can't go wrong buying from them. ... show more

Out of all that arrived, two were dim which was ok considering how bright the others were. In a week, the lights dimmed on a few more and the adhesion gave way. New battery does not brighten the bulbs (see pic brightness difference). I stalled returning the lights because of an illness and I am stuck with them. The lights do exactly as advertised. They come on when motion is detected and shut off within 20 seconds of no motion being detected i got about 21 seconds on my stop watch but close enough. The position is key to placement for battery consumption. I have them outlining the floor panel in my hallway and on the doorway in my hallway and cabinet in my kitchen. As a result of the placements even though my bright lights are on they still continue to come on because if the light isn't shining directly on the sensor they will come on with movement. I tested this out with a flashlight shining directly on it and it did not come on but as soon as i moved the flashlight and moved again in front of sensor the light came back on. ... show more

I genuinely wanted these to work (I bought 10 of them) but I found that they fell short of expectations. The sensor and brightness were fine but my concern is how fast they all churned through the batteries. I had them on our stairs and in the corridor. I would not expect our house to be any busier that the average household but after 6 weeks, all them were flat. I used eveready standard batteries which should have done the job given these are LED low power lights but unfortunately, it appears that they need longer lasting batteries (which are more expensive). ... show more
