I've replaced the hose on my BISSELL SpotClean Professional Portable Carpet Cleaner (3624) once before with the OEM option. The OEM design is terrible, it's too stiff and there is no swivel at the end so that all the torque you put on the hose wrapping it up and using it to clean ends up breaking the hose right by the cleaning attachment. It eventually happens to every one of these units and always at the same place. This redesigned replacement hose *seems* to have figured out a better design. First, the material is more pliable so therefore much less likely to crack from repeated wrapping and unwrapping with use. Second, they have built in a swivel right at the end so that you can actually twist the cleaning attachment instead of just torquing on the hose. I'm hoping this one lasts longer than the prior 2 OEM ones I've used (each of them lasted about 2-3 years before breaking). ... show more

This feels very well made and saved buying a new steam cleaner. Seems like it will last a long time. It’s a bit involved with taking a large portion of the sweeper apart but not hard.

this is better than the original hose. way more flexible! fits perfectly. taking apart the cleaner in order to replace is quite a puzzle, but there are youtube videos that gives you all the details. the price is high for what it is, but a lot cheaper than buying a new cleaner.

It may feel flimsy, but i actually think that is better becasue the factory hose was so stiff and cracked in less than a year for both of my units. Fits and works for Bissell Spotclean Pro. The black hose is squishier than the stock, not sure if that's good or bad. Everything else seems the same. Watch a YouTube video on how to replace it. It's easy if you know what to unscrew, I wasted a lot of time because I didn't find screws under the sticker. ... show more
