Though the length of this item is just short of the width of my sofa, it does work just fine. The springs in my sofa had definitely seen better days and, as a result, sitting on the cushions resulted in much sagging. Once I put the Cushion Support on top of the springs (under the cushions), no more sagging! This will suffice until I purchase a new sofa. A good deal at $30 compared to buying a new sofa for $850! ... show more

I ordered two sizes - one appropriate size each for my standard sofa and loveseat; I can feel an immediate improvement of stability already but I still want additional support and firmness due to the 7-8” thickness of the seat cushions themselves. These will work perfectly on my well crafted but 30 year old Basset furniture which is still in awesome condition with the exception of the wear and tear on the springs which causes one to “sink” into the sofa, making it difficult to get up off of it. These inserts are a great alternative to replacing two exceptionally great pieces of furniture, with outrageously expensive, subpar quality pieces that seem to be the normal in everything purchased today. If one set works this well, the second set under these pieces will be what I’m looking for. ... show more
