While this toy is fun, it does appear not well made. We’ve only played with this toy twice and the internal battery on the dinosaur dies quickly. It’s nice that it’s rechargeable and doesn’t take long to charge. It’s a bummer that it doesn’t hold the charge long.

    • Big Hit with a Little Boy
Our 8 year old grandson loves this toy! It was easy to put together, and the batteries were quick to charge (although it would be nice if we could recharge with a plug on the actual toy instead of plugging in the battery). It was pretty intuitive, less than 30 seconds of explanation and demonstration and he was chasing things across the floor! The remote is simple enough for a kid (or an old man!) to figure out, but still looked impressive to the little one. I would use the water/smoke feature outdoors only because I don’t want spilled water in the house, but it’s kind of a bonus feature. The dinosaur keeps pretty good balance, and can tackle less than perfectly smooth terrain. It also has held up well to rowdy play, so I am pleased with it! ... show more

    • Overall good toy but could have been better
The media could not be loaded. We got this as a gift for my 6 year old son. The laser feature is pretty cool but it doesn’t actually turn with the laser, it just goes back and forth. The charging port is a bit of a process. You need to unscrew the battery cover and then disconnect the battery and hook up the charger. Would be nice just to plug it in. My son dropped it once and the leg actually broke off. I hot glued it and it works again but just for perspective if you have a kid that may play with it roughly. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This dinosaur toy is fun, easy to use, and offers hours of fun for any age. This was so easy to put together and charged very quickly. It comes with the battery inside the dinosaur and will need to be charged. There is a little screwdriver with it to make it easy to get the back open to fix batteries. It has a remote control and it is easy to use. It's eyes light up and it roars. It also has a little bottle you use to put water in the top of the head. This is the best little gift around.
