When I first opened this and saw it, it looked like a very cheap toy and I was afraid it wouldn't even work. It was so light that how could it even run? But I was very wrong! Even though it's light and toy-like, it has a fully functioning camera, mp3 storage and simple games. My grandson brought it to church and went to the games first which he enjoyed very much. Then he took photos, including a somewhat unflattering shot of me. The photos have some cute filter options that he enjoyed playing with. He also took videos, but here, I've got to say, was a little snafu. When we took the video off the camera and uploaded it to YouTube (even before it got to YouTube) we noticed that the video track is two or three times as fast as the audio track, so that while the musicians at church were strumming their instruments in double time, the audio was still on the Lord's Prayer. For some, this might be a problem, but for kids like my grandson, it's a hilarious feature and more fun than if the video and audio were in sync. My grandson found it very easy to use, even without consulting the enclosed manual. It's a real winner. ... show more

Let me start by saying that I DID NOT use the camera, didn't even turn it on, so I can't comment on the functionality. After I opened the box and saw that it would be better as a Christmas tree ornament, I packaged it back up and started the return process. Way too small for an 8 year old. If the camera was the size of the box, it would have been the perfect size. I'll continue my search for a realistic looking DSLR that's size appropriate. ... show more

The functionality is good, it comes with some nice filters and themes to use, which is entertaining for children. It also comes with selfie camera to able to take selfies. The best part is it comes with inbuilt rechargeable lithium ion battery with a USB cord (no adapter), most kids cameras (popular brands) comes with AA batteries and they make the cameras very heavy to be able to carry. It is an average quality, all plastic built and not much (or no) bump protection at all. But there is a constant deals on this item which makes it a decent value at around 20 bucks, especially with features it comes with. There are also games but difficult to play with small screen, children will play with it anyway. ... show more
