Features

  • Compatible with Original Chimera Chimera+ Cyclops Cyclops Plus Muti color Hotend and Sidewinder X1 and X2 3D Printer
  • It is named "Bi-Metal Heatbreak" It has two components with different thermal conductivity. It is composed of 2 parts. We use a special process to hold them firmly together. You don't need to worry about it being damaged.
  • This Heatbtreak is made from two components, Copper and Titanium TC4. Titanium TC4 reduces heat upward conduction at the heating position, and copper for heat dissipation to accelerate heat conduction. The inner wall of the titanium is very smooth so that the filament can pass through and reduce clogging.

  • Works great in my Sidewinder X1
Style: Smooth version
I got this for my Artillery Sidewinder X1 to replace the teflon lined heatbreak that came with the printer. The heatbreak looked like it is good quality. The machined surfaces were clean and free of burrs or defects. Installation wasn't too bad and most importantly it works great. I've been printing Overture ABS and several brands of TPU in my X1 with this heatrbreak and have had zero issues or problems. Please note that not every Sidewinder X1 will work with this heatbreak. Make sure your heatbreak doesn't have any threads on the top portion. If your heatbreak does have threads on both ends this one won't fit. ... show more

  • Awesome for my new Artillery Sidewinder X2
Style: Smooth version
This thing has been awesome and working like a charm, I still put the PTFE tubing(the one that originally came with the printer, just had to cut it down) just incase and so far so good, printing has been super smooth once I realized the height the nozzle needed to be from the bed.

  • Great upgrade
Style: Smooth version
Since replacing the stock heatbreak on my X1 with this one, I have seen an improvement in consistency. It seems the quality has even improved. My prints are looking great and things just seem to be overall running more smoothly. So glad I bought this!

  • Not for FLSun SR
Style: Smooth version
This heatbreak does not fit the FLSun SR Super Racer. It's half the length required.

  • Interior not perfect, binding issues
Style: Smooth version
See the review from Jeremy on here, I am having the same issue. I picked this up as a "future upgrade", but had an issue with the factory setup on my Sidewinder X2, pulled the filament out and the PTFE tube broke so I figured while I had it all apart I would put this in. It worked great for simple prints, as Jeremy noted, but when printing more complex prints, like the articulated dragon, it got to a point where it was consistently failing on me, the extrusion would just stop. The extruder was still trying, it simply could not push the filament through. Neither could I do it manually until I pulled the filament out (just putting it back in didn't work) and cut it at a 45 degree angle and then could force it past whatever internal obstruction and get it working again.... for a while. After losing a few dragons due to partial prints I decided the only thing to do was yank this heatbreak back out. With the heatbreak out, using a piece of PTFE in the end just like it would be in the machine, and running some filament back and forth I can definitely feel it binding in there at some point. A shame. And no, it is not like the seller states on their page because the customer doesn't know how to install a nozzle. There was no gap between nozzle and heatbreak and no gap between heatbreak and PTFE up to extruder, there is no leakage or filament overflowing at any gap points. It seems to be binding in the heatbreak. I really wanted this to work out, but instead I wasted money on parts, wasted filament, and wasted a lot of time, but at least I didn't break anything else in the process. LOL I was going to look at the Copperhead heatbreak but when spec'ing it out for the Sidewinder X1 it says you need the Rep-Rap 1.75 but also says you must modify the fan shroud, no further details. Hmmm... I'll just stick with stock now that I have the PTFE insert fixed up again. Put it all back together and printed a successful dragon, so the proof is in the printing. ... show more

  • x1 v4
Style: Smooth version
This is the best that I could find. I don't think that it needed the capricorn tubing even at really high temperatures since it does such a good job at removing the heat. Copper is the way to go! I did use the dark blue capricorn but only because I had it for my other printer that I print really high temperatures. Don't think twice, just get it, you'll be glad that you did. ... show more

  • Can be easy to bend but does help improve performance
Style: Smooth version
Title says it all. If your not careful when tightening a nozzle, it can bend. Wasn't to difficult getting the assembly straight again but it is worth mentioning. Pick up an upgraded heat block as well or you won't see the complete benefits of the heatbreak. Artillery Genius.

  • much better then stock on Artillery Sidewinder X1
Style: Smooth version
This solved my issues! My printers stock heatbreak suffered from issues with filament flow that led to inconsistent layers and failed prints... Swapping out was straightforward and I noticed a huge improvement immediately; thermal transfer is much better than before.
