The battery life is not what’s described. On a full charge, setting on low, the battery only lasted 5-1/2 hrs. They claim Updated Large capacity pack on low lasting 7-9 hrs. The vest warms up fast and is comfortable. This is a large and plenty of room, but still warms well. If you want a more form fit, order medium. This person is 145 pounds, slim built. 24/7 CS, but can only contact thru email. I received a response back and they sent out another battery without hesitation. New battery is lasting longer. Every accommodating and pleasant to deal with. No information on purchasing a replacement battery from them. You can however, find many thru Amazon. Just make sure you specify Heated Vest when searching. There are 7.4v, this is 5. I don’t know if they are interchangeable. Most are 10000, but some are 16000 or 20000. I would be cautious upgrading from the original. Bottom line, I would recommend this. ... show more

After the recent Dec.'22 Artic blast, I got this Vencede Heated Vest and although it's been warmer since then, I can't wait to use it in the elements. I have access to a Flir IR camera from work and used it to get a sense of the heating pattern and general temperatures and while numerically I expected the temperatures to be hotter, in actuality when you wear it, it definitely warms you up good. Especially on lower back area. Another area that really makes an impact is the NECK Heat. Very warm. Good thing it has 3 levels (Low/Mid/High) to get the right comfort level. Quality - The vest is well made, good stitching, the zipper looks to be of good quality, and the fabric is water resistant and light weight (although the battery in it's interior pouch weighs a bit) and the fabric is 65% Polyester, 13% Nylon and 22% Cotton. Size / Fit - I'm 5'6" / 180lbs and ordered a Men's Medium size. It fits well, a bit snug but not too tight, although I probably should've gone for the large. That's on me. But as I expect to wear this under another jacket, I'm sure it'll be just fine. Battery pack: The battery pack came practically dead (only 1 of 4 LED lights initially) so I had to plug it in for @ 2+hrs to get 4 dots of charge. The one drawback is that it has a proprietary mini-jack charging connector which is also the Power jack for the Vest interior wire plug. So if you have other battery backup devices, you can't use them as a second battery backup since the vest does not have a USB-A or C wire. I'm not sure how long a full charge will last in actual use so it'd be nice if you could simply use another phone charger if or when this dies. Nonetheless, I'm happy with the purchase, although the price dropped $20 a week after receiving it, so I'd suggest monitoring price changes to hopefully get it for $69~79 rather than $99. I''ll update this in a month or two after getting some real world use. Hope this is helpful. ... show more

This best is very warm which is nice. Overall I really enjoy it, but there are a couple things I would change with the vest for me personally. Depending on what you would be getting the vest for, some of the cons below may actually be positives for you. Pros: * super warm on high setting * zippers seem to be high quality and do not snag * looks sharp, easy to dress it up a bit, or wear it casually Cons * The way it was packaged caused the left collar to keep wanting to push inward. So, instead of the collar staying “outwards” the one on the left would continuously run against my chin, where the one on the right pushed outwards to the right. Not a huge deal for some people I’m sure, but it drove me crazy. * On the thicker side. I wanted this to layer under shirts t keep me warm when fishing, etc. This vest seems a touch thicker than others.
