I put this handlebar on my Lectric XP 3.0, replacing the original bar that had me leaning forward and made my hands go numb on long rides. It's hard to believe that something so simple makes the bike a totally better riding experience. I can sit straighter and my hands no longer go numb with the different position. I feel I have much better control over the bike. You won't believe the enhanced riding experience! I highly recommend this upgrade for an ebike with a straight handlebar. I had to replace the stock grips with new, locking grips because the old ones were never as tight as from the factory after removing and putting them back on this new bar. ... show more

Tubing is a little thinner than I'm comfortable with but it is for a road bike so not a huge deal (so far). This was the widest bar I could find with this amount of backsweep at a reasonable price. I think there are some $90+ bars available with better construction but I didn't want to drop that much before I decide if I like the shape. ... show more

I had a set of flat bars and a really long stem on my Raleigh hybrid bike that made riding quite uncomfortable (well, a frame size too big and a really hard seat too). I figured that I needed to just get a different bike and start over. Well, coronavirus happened and I couldn't sell my bike. So, I decided to spend a few bucks on some parts and upgrade what I had to see if it would help. I went from a 100mm step to a 35mm stem, flat 670mm handlebars with no rise to these handlebars (I think they are roughly the same width) with a couple inch rise. The bike feels completely different. Yes, it's still a bit big for me, but I am not leaned so far over that my back and neck hurt anymore. I just wanted to go out riding with my wife on super casual rides (8-10mph, shorts and flops, bike trails, etc). These bars are an improvement over my old for 2 reasons. First, they are a couple inches taller and have a swept back design that's probably 4" closer to me than flat bars. Couple this with the shorter stem and I'm sitting nice and upright rather than leaned forward. Second improvement is more handlebar real estate - I have more space for a bell, computer, accessories, etc. Although they are ~670mm wide, they are closer to 800mm if you measure all the usable space you've got. Pretty neat! Obviously these won't work well for your road bike or mountain bike, but for touring or cruising, these are great! Weight wise, they feel similar to the flat bars I took off, but I honestly didn't weigh them. They seem durable and if anything happens, I'll update here, but as of today, I've ridden with them for quite a few rides and am pleased. ... show more

These bars made a huge improvement on my new Rad Rover 6 Plus. Eliminated wrist & shoulder pain. The photo shows the new bars installed on my Rad Rover 6 Plus ebike and with me holding the original bars up next to them. I do most of my riding on the road and as you can see the new bars have more of a back angle compared to original bars which were almost straight. This improved angle helped so that my arms and wrists were not so twisted. Much more comfortable and alleviated the pain in my wrists, arms and shoulders. ... show more

    • Nice bar! Just what I needed.
I bought this to replace the straight bar that came on my ebike. The bar along with an adjustable stem allows me to sit upright more and be more comfortable on the bike. The bar has a bit of rise and is swept back. Works great!

Replaced the original straight handle bar on my Trek bike. Went on a one-hour bike ride and could not believe the huge improvement in comfort this handle bar has made. Installation was straightforward. The only issue I ran into was that the rear-view mirror that was installed inside of the old handle bar was too big for the new handle bar. The inside diameter of the UPANBIKE handlebar seems to be noticeably smaller. No big deal: a new mirror is on its way.
