First of all, the inseam is way longer than 29.5 inches. I think they are more like 32 inches. Like other reviews say, I would order one size up. I ordered my normal size 25 because their size was only $68! Size 26 is $248 as of right now. Size 25 fits tight! I'm hoping to get stretched out a bit. I’m 5’4” 115-117lbs and I ordered a size 26 which is one size up from my normal size 25. I have a pear shape body for reference. The size 26 fits perfectly. I’m glad I listened to reviews. For reference I ordered the lighter wash with holes in it. It looks just like the picture. The length was a little long for me (I thought it was an ankle fit) and also the knee holes were a little below my knees so that’s why I’m returning them. I’ll be ordering another pair of jeans from this brand. These are really cute just not exactly what I was looking for but I’m extremely picky. My backside fit in the jeans with no gapping at the waist which is unusual for me since I carry my weight all in my lower body. So I liked that! ... show more

I was on Amazon looking for my next pair of 7 for allmankind jeans & I happen to stumble across these Mother jeans, which I have NEVER heard of before. I was looking for a pair of high-waisted jeans, light wash for the spring/summer. I think I've found them!! :) I ordered my original size as I do in my 7 jeans which is a size 28, only for them to arrive very tight on the waist... so I sent them back and ordered a size 29, and they fit perfect. So, it depends.. if you order these anticipate going up one size.. I'm 5'4 & 133lbs (fyi) The price of these are comparable to my 7 jeans or Hudson jeans, so the price wasn't sticker shock for me. I REALLY, REALLY, like the fit of these.. one of the CONS is that they don't have much of a stretch, but i'll do an update after I have worn these all day. I bought them in February, I plan to wear them as soon as it gets warmer here in Virginia. I'm not a huge fan of ripped jeans, because there are some being sold that looks ridiculous, but these aren't too bad and if you dress them with some heels, a cami & blazer.. they can look pretty decent. :) ... show more

I am the husband and my wife, who is a 60 yoa is a GENETIC MASTERPIECE and make these jeans look AWESOME. They look as good coming as going! A bit pricey but definitely ordering more!

I saw all the comments that people needed to order a bigger size than normal so I wanted to chime in and say all of my Mothers jeans are size 27 and I ordered a 27 and they fit perfect. 5'8" 135lbs. I would reference the measurements in the size chart.
