Its awsome i wish i had a pic or video to explaine. I had it on a scooter the ones were there are no keys but just had this lock on the wheel which mad it easier for people to steal it rite. When someone tried thdy got soo scared thdy ran soo fast it was like breaking into a closed store the alarm was so loud they put it down and ran. Lol. Im soo bad. But im going to video this product so u guys can see what i saw. No one will go near it. It mks a beap if u by accident brush against it. But if u try to move it, shake it, lift it up. Then this hellish noise breaks loose till u put the key in it to stop it. I luv it so im buying a few more now for xmass gifts. This is a must for all ages if u own a bicycle and up to a motorcycle. This lock has been great to have a peace of mind about leaving the bike unattended. It's easy to carry around and doesn't take up much room. I rated it 4 stars because I've had it for four months and the pin inside popped out of the lock and it fell apart.

The disc lock doesn’t have too large a gap. Some rotors will not fit. It worked on my ninja but, not on my Harley. However, it comes with the orange cord that you can attach to the bike the same way you’d use a bicycle lock that works good as a helmet lock/guard on the Harley (I feed the cord through the eyes of my full face). ... show more

Convenient and easy to carry in a saddlebag. Decent construction and acceptable decible output. This detterent would not be expected to stop bike theives but definitely a reason for them to move on to the completely unprotected bike next to yours. Orange cable is included to remind you not to set off your own alarm. May be harmful to a sensitive ego. Backup batteries are included as well as a small carrying bag with Velcro straps. To use, simply use the key provided to lock the unit to the wheel. The unit will beep as it arms itself. If unit is moved or bumped it will emitt three short and loud "beeps". I really like the lock. It's worked well for the past couple of months that I've had it, and I use it nearly every day at my office. I like that it makes a very loud shrill sound if someone disturbs it. I can hear the sound from inside my house if it goes off. It's super easy to use, arms itself when you attach it to the disk. The cable attachment makes it very obvious that the device is attached to the bike, which I think doubles as a deterrent, and a reminder to me that I have the thing locked to my brake. I know that if someone is going to steal your bike, they're going to steal your bike, but this makes it more difficult for someone to just roll it away without at least a little bit of trouble. Great disc lock! Great theft deterrent and yes works very well! I even forgot I had it one time and broke off a piece off my own bike lol nothing major braked on time only downside is it’s very noisy and sensitive where as even wind or a small pebble can set it off but! Quick and easy fix just remove the batteries and use the device like normal! ... show more

So far, so good. My ride is usually stored in the garage, but I wanted something for the occasional curbside protection. My only gripe is not realizing I had to remove the rubber insert BEFORE using the key. I thought the unit was defect... No one said I had to pluck out the stopper first.
