I usually wear a large but Amazon recommended that I get an XL. The XL was way to big on me, I was swimming in it. The large does fit, but doesn't give a lot of extra room inside. Let me start off by saying, I bought this jacket last year in army green. I love that jacket and it holds up to this day. I recently bought the black one and I think I love this more that the other one. Both of the jackets are heavy duty without being bulky. They really keep the cold out. After buying a Carhartt 3xl winter coat for much more money. It fit like I was wearing a tent. Sent it back and ordered this one. Very warm, here in NH it was -25 below the day I got it. The only negative is because it's so long in the torso, I wish it had a two way zipper. Other than that great buy for the price. ... show more

Super warm and super comfortable. The sizing was perfect. As a woman buying a man's coat, it is a little body, but the warmth and comfort make up for it. Love the detachable hood.     • Two Different Quality Levels!
Size: 3X-Large Color: Khaki
I bought this jacket in Black 2XL last year and it is thicker/puffier, has better quality fabric and stitching and most importantly it has ribbed cuffs inside the sleeves. But I put on some weight, so I got a new one in khaki and 3X and it is drastically less quality. There are no ribbed sleeve cuffs, the jacket is not as thick as my one from last year, the outer pockets are flimsier, and the stitching looks much cheaper. I know I'm not imagining this, because my jacket from last year has nice looking sleeve epaulets (don't know what to call it) that is decorative, with a big metal button, which adds a touch of style. This feature is absent on the new jacket! Finally, because last year's jacket had more fill, I didn't have a problem with wrinkles when I pulled it out of the bag. My new jacket looks like a big, crumpled paper bag! Extremely disappointed with this new jacket and will be returning it immediately. ... show more

Bought this jacket for the Mid West Winter season and took it out for a cold night. Great jacket and keeps you warm, while looking great too! It has some extra emphasis on the shoulders with the military esque design and I really like it. Pokets we're awesome too, holding my beanie and gloves. I also was able to remove the hood and store it for a later use. When it comes to washer / dryer, I washed in cold water and dried with low heat / air only combo... No to little shrinking with this method. The only thing different I would've done was buy the grey color instead of black just for cosmetic reason... The jacket picks up pet hair really easily (but what clothes items don't). ... show more
