Thanks to kids, remote went missing on 8 year old fan. Since no universal remotes can be re-paired, needed a new set. Installed and works perfectly. Only bummer is old one was brown and now this one is white but I’d rather have a functioning remote over color!

Installation was easy and straight forward. But I almost didn’t even attempt it because this product is VERY NOT WHITE. It’s almond at best. I had to install it into an entirely different location so that it wasn’t boldly apparent that it doesn’t match all the other switches in my house.

The best ceiling fan remote for strength of signal, simple controls, and reliability

You would think that ceiling fan remotes all work mostly the same. Turn light on/off, turn fan on/off, adjust fan speed, dim the light. These are not unreasonable expectations, but many ceiling fan remote controls do not come close to meeting those expectations. This one does, in spades. After having
tried multiple remotes with a variety of brands of ceiling fans, this is the one I keep coming back to for reliability, strength of signal, and simplicity of features. If you need a remote for your ceiling fan, or are replacing one that doesn't work the way you want, this one works... every, single, time. Can't recommend enough. Easy 5 stars.

Glad to find a Replacement
Style: Self-learning Control Kit
Glad to find a replacement for a broken controller. Plus, it was reasonably priced. I also replaced another fan that could not be fixed; however, could not find one with a remote...so, I ordered another one. Much less expensive than having my electrician wire a wall switch.

Instructions are atrocious. I have a fairly young Hunter fan (3-4 years old), but no combination of the setup procedure was able to pair the remote..

I was searching for a Hunter Fan Brand remote control, description n led me to believe this remote was a Hunter Fan product. As it turned out is was not, but works with my Hunter Fan very well.
