No programming needed . My in-laws lose their remote every few weeks. This is about the 7th one of these I’ve bought. It keeps working just fine. They have dirpped the others in the toilet , washed them , ran them over with wheelchairs . These cheap replacements work just fine

I didn't realize that the there was a scroll option on the remote. I enjoy it, because I don't have to hold down the up or down button when scrolling, but the scroll button is also the select/enter button, so if it moves, your choice moves too. That can be a little frustrating, but its a great remote. Does what it is supposed to do. I had no problem with pairing it with my LG tv. Just added batteries and pointed. I do suggest, if you are replacing your original remote, take the batteries out of original remote before using the new one. This way you won't have any issues connecting. ... show more

Purchased this not too long ago but the buttons get stuck and you have to keep pushing them to get it to work. Some buttons appear to work better than others. The back of the battery cover will pop off even when the remote falls off the couch to a carpeted floor. We have purchased a couple of these replacement remotes and they all seem to work at first but not for the long haul. ... show more
