I bought this because the price is right didn’t really expect it to work when I needed it but it is working it replaced the mechanical fuel pump in my 68 Chevy that I bought brand new from Amazon that pump just enough fuel to make me think something else was wrong took me forever to figure out I got a bad mechanical fuel pump What a rip off The mechanical fuel pump that this replaced would start out, pumping just fine for a few miles and then pump. Hardly nothing. I was thinking of all kinds of things because everything was brand new and I heard the HEI sport module from China will give you problems. Bought this pump for my Kubota RTV900 since the manual pump went out ( I ordered another manual pump) but the RTV's have a known problem of not starting once the fuel tank gets between 1/2 and 1/4 tank of fuel. Having a back up will help prevent a no start issue. Pretty simple to install, I ended up using deutsch 2 pin connector instead of the one that came with the pump, it was very cheap, wire terminals we loose and ended up breaking one. The deutsch connector will add extra water proofing. This pump is a little nosey, you can hear it pulsating when you apply power. ... show more

I can't say it doesn't work and have had no issues with performance other than noise. Installed on a 1992 Honda ACTY. As soon as key is turned on, the pump begins making a clunking sound and does not stop. I would have thought it would stop once pressurized but it keeps on going.
