This is a nice lettle set. The products are well packaged and look really sharp. I love that the contour, blush, and highlight sticks are magnetic. I don't know why but it's my favorite detail. All 3 blend out beautifully. A good trio together. The lips products are well pigmented, dry matte, and stay out. They're a bit drying, even the glosses, but the color stays put for hours. The eye pallet is nicely neutral with some fun metalics. A little bit of fall out but not as b ad as other brands I've tried. The liquid eyeliner tip is nice and sharp. Glides easily on the skin. Eyebrow pencil is creamy and blends right in. Perfec5 color for my dark brows. The mascara is eh but I'm very picky about those so I won't knock this kit for that. Same with the brushes. They feel nice but you can tell they've been glued to the sticks so I don't expect longevity from them. The storage bag is HUGE I can fit all of my daily use products in it and it's a fun, bright design. All in all, this is a great deal for this set considering the price point. This is a perfect set especially for travel or to have ready to go for a night out. It comes with a colorful carrying bag which fits all the items. The zipper is easy to open and close. I love that the bag has so many delightful colors. It is a great size for travel. The makeup has everything you need. The brushes hold the makeup really well and are soft. I love the red lip gloss. It has a very nice shine on my lips. I also love the lipsticks. They glide on really well and last several hours. The mascara went on evenly and didn't clump. The eyeshadow has great shades and a mirror in the case to use. I do wish the eyeshadow case had a place to put in the brush as that makes it easier. While the price point for this set, considering all you get, is a deal, there's a few things to point out. - The eyebrow pencil: no color pay off whatsoever and very very dry. - The lightest of the lipgloss is not lipstick but it is glitter liquid eyeshadow based on the scent and it's staying power. - The cream lipsticks are very very very sheer, essentially tinted lip balms. - The lipglosses are not lipgloss, they are, in fact, matte lipstick. The red is actually quite cute and they are very drying BUT they do not budge or transfer once on -- very pleasantly surprised. ALSO they smell like cupcakes - love love! - The highlight/contour/blush trio has a strange smell but I actually really liked the magnetic feature to keep them together and the payoff is just enough that it would be good for someone just learning how to contour. - The small sized brushes are adorable and perfect for someone with limited space or to travel and are good quality. - The eyeshadow pallet is totally fine but all the glitter/shimmer colors all kind of blend out into one color unless you pack it on your lid with a finger. - The liquid eyeliner is great, super pigmented and the tip is fine enough to do a sharp wing. With all of that said, I absolutely think this would be totally great for a teen getting into makeup and wanting to have the opportunity to play with their look without breaking the bank. ... show more

This set is absolutely wonderful to have, I love several items specifically in this set such as the eyeshadow, contour and highlight sticks. The highlighter, contour, and blush are all magnetic and stick together. The eyeshadow palette has a natural brown glitter color combination. I did like the appearance of the lip gloss once applied. It would of been nice to have more moisture in the lip sticks, I did not like the application, the lipsticks felt hard. Overall, I love this set I totally recommend. ... show more

    • Poor quality
I'm not impressed with this makeup kit at all. It is poor quality and feels cheap on the skin. There are a few pieces in the kit that are alright enough but most of it is really underwhelming. The lipsticks feel extremely waxy and aren't very pigmented. I can see my natural lip color through them easily. The lip gloss has better pigmentation but it is also extremely waxy feeling and it brings a strange taste to my mouth as soon as I apply it. It is also a lip stain and the staying power is good enough that I couldn't get it off without using makeup remover. The blush, contour, and highlight sticks also are very waxy on the skin. The applicator sticks they come in are magnetic which is really neat but it doesn't get them any points when the makeup inside is bad. The eyeliner isn't great. It is a touch on the greyer side rather than the saturated black I really want. It goes on easily but smudges off easily, too. The "Velveteen Dream Shadow" is a massive disappointment. It is very pretty and glistening but the whole eye shadow cake fell out when I accidentally held it tilted too far to the side and the whole cake broke apart on the floor. The eye shadow palette is pretty decent, especially when compared to the rest of the makeup here. It is very shiny and shimmery. It isn't the most concentrated shimmer you can find by a long shot but it gets the job done. The mascara is fine. It doesn't go on too thick and it is dark and black. The brushes are the best bit. They're okay for the kind of brushes you get in a cheap kit like this one. They work. They don't shed everywhere. They're soft enough. The eyebrow brush is the best of all the brushes. It is on the opposite end to the brow makeup stick and the brow makeup is, of course, pale and waxy. I can barely see it through my light brown eyebrows. It isn't worth using. The makeup bag is garish for my taste but the zipper works and the bag is well sewn. It is a good enough thing. I dislike the feeling of almost all of these cosmetics on my skin and washed them off soon after testing them. They feel heavy, waxy, and gross. This is a really cheap and cheaply made makeup kit. If you are buying it as a tween's intro to makeup, I guess it might be okay. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has used good quality makeup. ... show more
