The crystals are tied together in small bundles and are screwed into the base of the lamp. Don't untie the crystal bundles until all are screwed into the lamp base. Time consuming to screw in each bundle but well worth the effort as the lamp will look great. Don't rush and allow an hour or more to complete the project. You need to order the bulbs seperatly and insert them first before the crystals are screwed in. If you're not handy with wiring a lamp into a ceiling, its best to hire an electrican. A dimmer wall switch is highly recommended as the lights are super bright. ... show more

installation requires attention to detail, but was pretty easy. There are gloves in the bottom of the box so that you don't get your grimy fingerprints all over the light.
