I was am so happy with these pens!! I had a cheap set 80 gel pens and it came with two silver shades but the skipped and didn’t work or show up very well. So I set out to find some good ones and OH MY GOD I’m so happy I picked these up. There’s 3 in the order and they are soooo juicy. I use them for writing, and they show up wonderfully on white paper and don’t skip at all. The 1.0 mm size is just perfect especially for a color like this. I wish uniball signos came in more colors and shiny-ness in this size because it’s amazing. Anyway do buy. These are worth it! ... show more

    • Good pigment, but doesn't work well on all paper surfaces

These pens have a really nice silver colour and once you get them flowing, they're really cool-looking on a black background. I took off one star because you have to have a preprinted black surface (glossy black cardstock is optimum) to get them to write smoothly. I tried printing out a black "box" on copy paper, and the pen lines kept skipping. I had to go over what I was writing several times to get the letters completely finished. Now I have to go out and get some special black card stock or hope I can find a package of preprinted black paper. ... show more

I love Uni-Ball pens, but they skip horribly. That said, these pens were a good deal and if you can handle the skipping and are patient enough, you will do okay with them. They look stunning on black paper, and I enjoy using them to add decorations to my planner when I am doing metallic spreads or the like. Be careful though with thin paper, because these pens will bleed through to the other side with a kind of "greasy halo". ... show more

    • May Have Been a One-off Defect

Perhaps I received the one bad apple, but in the set I received, two of the three pens were bone dry. Such a shame, because the one pen with ink was absolutely wonderful and worked exactly the way I needed it to! My quest continues for the perfect silver transfer pens for appliqué and quilt designs.

These are very fine metallic ink pens. But they sent me gold pens and I had ordered silver. I will keep them because they will do well enough for my purposes (writing on black cardboard).
